Destiny 2 does feel replayable, thats not what I am talking about.. I am talking about the story missions, the campaign.. In D1 the missions were all set out on the map, even the strikes were. In D2, they are not.. Im assuming because the map is "live"? I find this to be an issue and really annoying. There were some story missions I would love to go back and replay without the need to make a new character. Anyone else want to run around in that tank again? I would! I had so much fun on that mission, just running around in a tank and blowing shit up! But I cant.. because the missions are not available anywhere. I feel this is a mistake.. as well as making the strikes a playlist. The issue with the strikes is that you get repeat strikes.. and so its a bit confusing.. In D1 the strikes did kind of go in an order to the story line (haha even though there was no story in the game!) .. In D2 they are just random and make no sense.. They, along with the story missions, should be on the map. They should be either just selectable, or you could go to them on patrol.. like the adventures.
Anyone else think this should be how it is?
Edit: Wow this place is so toxic.. people dont know what a suggestion is, and instead just want to attack it as if its complaining. I am enjoying the game, but suggestions are what can improve something and this is merely a thought and suggestion.

I really cannot justify playing the game anymore beyond the weekly stuff until they fix this. Not letting us go and play any Mission or Strike like we could in Destiny 1 is a huge letdown and should be the highest priority fix at the moment!
-
Well, even though you can't always do your favorites over and over again, Ikora has the memory system that allows you to play select missions over again weekly, for research tokens and, by association, better loot
-
I don't really see how you could argue with this post. It wouldn't hurt anyone if there was no option to replay any story mission at will, it would only benefit those who do! I probably wouldn't reply the story missions outside of the daily/weekly activities but I have no reason to complain or vote against something like this lol. What if I wanted to show a friend a mission when he was over but couldn't?! You never know when you might need this feature. It would be good.
-
1 ResponderYeah, Ikora should offer all campaign missions at all times. Issue fixed.
-
Still play Halo campaign once in a while, because it never gets old. Just started D2, so not sure if campaign is memorable or not but wasn't aware missions could be played only once and then from random offerings. Definitely a bummer.

Response to your edit....Welcome to the world of Keyboard Ninjas. A secret group of mommy's basement dwellers who look for ways to make themselves feel like men/women by attacking others because in real life they have no life. As long as they can, from some secret place we will never discover and shall always exist, they will attack those who maybe don't know everything because we are living life outside, or snuggled up next to something they can only wank it to. As long as you know who they are and will forever be Thier attacks should not bother you.

I'm okay with Ikora for the stories but I wish I could choose which strike I wanted from the world map. Oh well, still loving the game!

2 RespostasGo to ikora

3 RespostasOnce you complete your weekly milestones, the game itself feels non-replayable. I'm at 271 and can't get any higher without more powerful engrams. Playing public events over and over and over again...ugh. Also, the dumb loot system keeps giving me duplicate exotics. And since the dumb loot system won't allow you to infuse exotics into other exotics, or exotics into legendaries...I'm kinda screwed ATM. I don't feel at all encouraged to even start a 2nd character. And what's with people creating three of the same character class? Is there some secret benefit that I'm missing?

1 ResponderMeditations with ikora
-
It's not even bad, the game is literally unreplayable except for the 3 weekly meditations from Ikora (but that is a free legendary i guess)
-
You can replay the missions through meditation with Ikora.
-
5 RespostasI think the meditation system is an ingenious way to tie the linear story to a little narrative trick that makes it feel like you aren't time travelling when you replay the campaign. I also like that they use it as a weekly activity to play randomizes selections of the content every week. I would like the meditation screen to have like an "archive" to play any mission you wanted. If you pulled from the "archive" it wouldn't give you Ikora rep like the 3 weekly ones do, but completely locking that content behind rng or a new character does just feel off.

Editado por IcedValian: 9/12/2017 5:52:18 AMYou have two forms of replay on the story missions. First: Each worlds field vendor offers to re-activate the last 4 completed story missions for that world. They are reissued at the same light level however so it makes them generally too easy after beating the campaign but hey they are there. Second: Ikora has 3 story missions she releases weekly that are increased to a heroic difficulty so they reap better rewards and drop tokens that boost rep with Ikora which gives even more good gear. Idk what else you'd really want with the story though. How often did you go back and play a story mission after you capped game? Personally I hardly replayed story except for the weeklys that gave marks
-
5 RespostasYeah I want to go back to that dark forest.... am I the ONLY person who thought that shard of the traveler was repaying us for saving it's butt from the hive on the moon? You remember that mission right? What if that shard called us back to repay us for freeing it?
-
3 RespostasWhen you complete the story ikora gives you bounties to complete old story missions only then will the map show them again.
-
I agree. Definitely want to be able to play story missions and strikes whenever. Was surprised by this too. Also tired of not being able to start a strike from the beginning. Almost always puts me into one already started.
-
1 ResponderYeah, it's a strange direction to go. I just finished the campaign on my second character, and those missions were live- I don't see why we can't replay story missions for any good reason... =\ I don't like the unlisted strikes. I still don't know their names, can't take time to explore in random playlist. They feel disconnected from the story in the way they just say "Hey, here's a strike playlist. Have fun!"
-
1 ResponderAgreed. It'll probably be in an update a year from now that we're expected to shit ourselves over too.
-
I dont care much for replaying the story.
-
6 RespostasWhy do you want to replay it? Over the course of the next year you're going to play everything so much you cry. Literally the entire game is running the same circles over and over again around the same central hub of a map. Backwards sideways from the left sideways from the right sideways upside down will probably be next. Start another character by the time you're finished you can do it one more time. Maybe by then you'll realize how bad the game is and won't want to play it anymore. Either way best of luck getting Bungie to listen to you.
-
1 ResponderYou can replay 3 missions a week from Ikora?
-
Go see ikora and grab a mission if you want to replay. That's what she is for
-
1 ResponderJust go over to Ikora if you want to rerun old story missions. Its fun running them at higher light with actual good gear lol
-
2 RespostasIkora gives you weekly missions to replay at a higher level
-
1 Respondergo to ikora rey at tower. She has so called ''meditations" that are actually bounties to replay missions
