I can't play Destiny anymore.
I love Destiny. I play on both consoles everyday but lately I just can't play anymore. I want Destiny 2 now.
Am I alone?
D2 looks so good that I just can't play Destiny. I mean the same Raids and Strikes over and over again. I'm even tired of the Crucible. I can't wait for the new subclasses and missions and strikes and raids and LOOT.
I'm definitely going to be running the Sentinel.
Anyone else in the same place as me?

I stopped playing save for the occasional crucible spree with my girlfriend. Been playing FFXIV....will continue to until D2.

I still do the occasional raid because it's fun. I don't worry about D2 while I'm having fun.

2 RespostasSame here man. Doesn't help that crucible is in a shit state as is. I can't wait for D2 any longer. Might not even return to D1 after the beta. Just watch the footage I record until September.

2 RespostasI stopped playing about 2 or 3 months ago. Same as you, I have it on two consoles and played it constantly, and loved playing it. I guess I just got tired of grinding for stuff that has no importance as Im not one for collecting all the missing gear I dont have, I didnt have anything to carry on for. As for D2, I hope it has lots of loot! Lots of stuff to do including that mountain in the distance, I wanna go there, and more importantly, I hope it lasts as long as D1 did for me. Its by far my most played game ever and I hope D2 can be just as good.

2 RespostasI think Almost the entire playerbase is in the same position as you since it was announced nothing carries forward to D2. They are either taking a break until it arrives or in a holding pattern. But remember with D2 you will be running the same content over and over again as well, you'll just have about 1/4 of what you have today to start with. Let's say the world is "twice as big" per Bungie's comments. That is still not really that big compared to open world games,. It'll be fresh for about the first weekend. The only way it'll take much longer is if the release of parts of it are artificially time gated. Even if they can produce content four times as fast as with D1 it'll never keep up with the communities ability to consume it. So don't rely on fresh content to give replayability, even in D1 that replayability came from repetition being fun enough.

It wouldn't be so bad if they would at least leave SOMEBODY behind to support D1 until D2 comes out. The error codes are just getting retardedly common.

Destiny 2 looks awful. Year 1 destiny was amazing. It's been a slippery slope since. Now it's a shit show.

I am at the complete opposite. I dont have a lot of faith in Destiny 2. Now that I heard nothing of the ''legend'' I created carries over I dont even care about Destiny 2 right now. I rather play with the weapons I love, with the character I build, doing my favo stuff than just freaking start all over again just to have it taken away from me in another 3 years. I'm so dissapointed that they are not building on the existing game. But this is Destiny in a nutshel. Dont add content just replace..

Maybe try and do all the outstanding quest you still have. Fill in some more of your book. I cannot wait till D2 but until then I am finishing off guns grimoire I had outstanding. I never used shotties so getting that one done. Just finished Sidearms as that was also one I only used on occasion.
