So you do need to open a separate program, you seem confused by what a separate program is. Just because you can quick open a program does not mean it is the same program. Steam does not have a party chat system.

Have you used steam? Because I have. It does have a chat system. And I'm saying if you want to use another program it's easy peasy

Actually i did not know it had voice chat that is interesting. Everyone i know just uses skype instead, but i guess that is because skype tends to be better quality.

Skype can be better quality and talk with more friends, but I have it set to open immediately on start up so i don't really gotta open anything. Just click on my friends name and call him.
