The legendaries that outclass exotics need to be looked at. Why use chaperone when you can OHK reliably at the same range with matador? Why use bad juju when Clever dragon has more range and stability? Why use thorn or Hawkmoon when Palidrome and Eyesluna has superior range and DPS? Legendaries are too strong, making even the best exotics pale in comparison. When players are choosing legendary weapons over any exotic, there might be some issues with that. Range and stability on high RoF pulse rifles need a nerf. Impact on Matador and Party Crasher should be brought in line with shotguns like patch a. OHK, but at closer ranges. People are saying "Buff primaries" but really it's just a handful of weapons like always. If thorn has phantom bullets and high recoil at medium range, why does palidrome and eyesluna have massive range and stability in comparison? OP primaries like them and clever dragon need a re-balance. When folks like TripleWRECK are willing farm for days for a weapon like Grasp of Malok, the weapon might be OP. remember the loot cave? That first week of onmigul was the same concept. Just bring them down and autos and scouts may become more viable. Not saying reduce damage but range and stability.
This isn't a weapon balance, but titan skating needs to be looked at. Jug and skating is Easy and OP. Skating also makes titans able to have max armor and max recovery with no agility trade off. maybe if the jump lost its gusto the more you use it. like a cooldown. Warlock melee from launch has been ridiculous. Then thunder strike. Hunter and titan melee you need to be close and looking right at the enemy. Warlock stock melee is longer and has a huge cone where it can automatically suck you into a melee at around 80 degrees from your point of aim. so warlocks get the longest range melee AND the least amount of aim to use? Why are melee ranges and proc cones even different? they don't really help subclass personality, but only add to class imbalance. just some thoughts. I probably wouldn't complain if a mained warlock or titan like the Dev's (like the ones in charge of weapon and sublass balance).

Example of what not to do.

Says the super awesome twitch streamer using palindrome matador... also running stormcaller and ophidian aspects on your warlock. GG
-
I haven't touched my warlock in months. Also If you need to resort to insults to validate your argument it proves it wasn't a good argument to begin with.
-
Editado por Osprai: 12/31/2016 8:41:43 AMI mean, you ARE using 2-2 weapons I mentioned here. It's kind of like saying "you have one leg." To a one legged man. It doesn't matter what he says, he still has one leg.
-
I dont understand
-
It doesn't matter what you're argument is... you're still using the strongest weapons. I'm not trying to say that wrong. You like winning and I respect that, but turning a blind eye to balancing while using imbalanced weapons is kind of hypocritical.
-
The weapons I use aren't overpowered. Theres a differance between S-Tier guns and overpowered guns. I'd say that nothing is overpowered in destiny currently because everything is so weak. Buffing primaries wouldn't make anything more or less overpowered, it would just reduce the number of apes in the crucible.

Editado por zJDz: 12/30/2016 5:12:18 PMIf you played each class equally you would understand that Titan skating is not easy and you ready your weapon slower. You must be kidding about the warlock melee. Hunters can THROW their melee across the map and get a kill. Who has the furthest melee now? Yes warlock Stormcaller melee has too much range but their grenades suck and so does their jumps. You take away their melee and they have no neutral game. Hunters have the best neutral game, the best jump. And the most annoying melee (smoke) seriously your melee slows, blinds, and causes damage and you can throw it. Smoke should be more like a suppressor nade and take away abilities but not slow your movement. So stupid when you are winning a gunfight and they throw a smoke and now you are aiming at the floor or ceiling. Same with a tether. Nightstalkers are the most annoying class at the moment.
-
I didn't realize that throwing a knife or smoke across the map can OHK.
-
Coming from the guy who doesn't use a hunter to understand it's downfalls. Nice.
-
I find it funny how you only said negative things about Titans and warlocks. You said nothing about hunters at all that needs nerfing. This is just another hunter main bitching and moaning about buffs and nerfs. When you have a fair amount of play time on all classes, then I will listen.
-
Hunters got their nerf with the class balance patch.

Editado por Ness: 12/29/2016 8:26:04 PMWhy nerf the legendaries, why can't we just buff the exotics? Also, I think removing titan skating is a bad idea. It lowers the skill gap if you remove it. Only the top 1% are usually able to actually titan skate well anyway, I don't see an issue with it being in the game. I'm a Hunter main, if that makes a difference.
-
Buffing primaries in any capacity will only increase TTK to COD levels. Exotics in general have a good TTK and reward gun skill. Unlike some legendaries
-
So you think it's fine to have all legendary handcannons kill in 4 or 5 shots because of their inconsistency? Nerfing them is the worst thing you can do, especially in a shotgun meta like we have right now. Buffing primaries doesn't mean you need to have CoD TTK. Year 1 may not have been balanced, but primaries were actually good back then. Even with the abundance of special ammo, everyone used primaries because they were strong. Weak primaries are the reason special weapons are abused. And exotics aren't in a good spot, they need buffs. You can't convince me that Red Death is actually a good primary in this meta.
-
Editado por Osprai: 12/30/2016 5:41:18 PM4-5 shots? I get mapped by palindrome in three shots from only one headshot. And I mean MAPPED. The range is too high. The range eliminates ghost bullets. That's why exotic handcannons have a huge ghost bullet problem. Their range has been nerfed to balance them. But then they allow legendaries to have massive range. It's imbalanced. I'm also saying this having handcannons be the highest percentage of all my kills
-
I know the 4-5 shot kill doesn't have happen all the time, most of the time it is a 3 shot kill. But that is the problem, a 3 shot kill a is what it should be. Maybe you weren't there in year 1 where the skill gap was wider. Ghost bullets lessen the skill gap and make the game less rewarding for skilled players. Shotguns are already an issue, nerfing legendaries would only make this worse. The only primary nerf that needs to happen is the removal of HCR from high rate of fire pulses since the flinch can make it so some of your shots won't hit, even if your aim is perfect.

Editado por Osprai: 12/31/2016 8:47:45 AMWell I actually was there for year one. I have an embarrassing number of hours played in crucible alone. So I'm not just making this stuff up. My suggestions come from experience with the competitive scene in destiny and many other shooters. I'm all for rewarding skilled players. I remember when the range on handcannons were nerfed because they were able to compete with scouts. Now palindrome and eyasluna rolls can, undoing their whole attempt to balance them. And poof! Look. Palindromes EVERYWHERE.
-
That doesn't mean they should be nerfed. Right now, palindrome can't compete at scout rifle range. Competing with scouts as a weapon of choice is different than actually competing with them at their intended range. My suggestion was always to have perfect hit registration with increased damage fall off for handcannons. That way it is almost impossible for them to compete at longer ranges while still rewarding skilled players for actually landing their shots. I have a video of me aiming at someone center mass with the vendor roll palindrome and I still missed whike ADS. While this was the only time that it happened at such a close range, this should never happen in the first place.

Editado por xKCz: 12/29/2016 12:46:45 PMIn a game of wombo combos/tracking nades/Keen scout/Warlock melees it's a good thing Titans can skate. They'd be pretty useless otherwise. Warlock melee is annoying as shit, but I understand why they have it. They're slow as -blam!-, and can't evade. If you want to cut the range down, let them skate like Titans. Everyone plays Hunter becuase they have much more maneuverability than everyone else, and Armor counts for very little. It just lends itself to FPS far better compared to the Titan/Warlock, that;s why they need Melee range/skating to stay viable. You wouldn't throw a Turtle in a tank full of Pirhana and expect it to hold its own would you? Coz that seems like what you hunter mains are looking for. I pretty much play all 3 classes equally nowadays, and can appreciate why certain abilities/attributes exist for each one. Jugg is the only thing that bugs me. Not being able to hurt an opponent until they've shot at you, is pretty unfair Bungie. All it does is upset people. Plz either rework the perk, or swap it out for something different. At least keep it away from Destiny2 lol.
-
You say everyone plays hunter but all I see it Titans and warlocks
-
Watch this and tell me that warlocks are slow. https://youtu.be/lVqHZDsXpWo I know he's running max agility, but it honestly doesn't make a difference in how fast you move even if you have the lowest agility possible.

You wouldn't throw a Turtle in a tank full of Pirhana and expect it to hold its own would you? Coz that seems like what you hunter mains are looking for Unfortunately that's exactly what they're looking for. Many people just aren't concerned with the overall balance of the game. They just want the game changed so that they can WIN with their favorite class, or loadout. In Year One, Hunters dominated the Crucible. Their speed, maneuverability and roaming supers made them absolute terrors. But in Year 2, Bungie started to balance the subclasses. Titan skating came into its own (and Bungie refused to nerf it....wisely). Both Classes were given their own roaming supers.....and Hunters saw their dominance slip.... ...and, as a group, they've been whining and desperately trying to get everyone else NERFED (so that they can dominate again) ever since.

ok i couldnt seriously care less about everything else but you want to have an entire class nerfed. skating is honestly one of the few advantages we have against the other classes. your basically trying to ruin a class you dont even use cuz what your not able to shoot them. titan skating is a double edged sword dude. 50 % of the time we're killed while skating. hunters have two sub classes that take them off radar and warlocks have an extremely stupid melee range. titans have jetpacks its part of our class that is why skating is even possible. hunters have double jump which is hardly any different than having a jump pack in titanfall so what you proposed is utter stupidity and is complete and utter BULL$#!+ why dont you try skating oh wait you probably dont titan much. oh btw hunters can control there jumps and which direction they want to jump warlocks can fluidly control there where they r going with there jumps. when a titan is skating properly changing directions isnt easy considering that all of the momentum we were carrying in the direction we were skating cant just be negated you ever seen a tittan skating full speed then do a complete 180 and continue skating uh no. wake up dude.
