I sympathize with the frustration. However to make a game with community involvement is to give us a taste of what development takes. When planning a story the amount of directions you can take characters is ming boggling. When we don't have a leader for our thoughts who puts on the cape to ensure thought we, as part of the interactive, receive is streamlined and kept to a certain quality we are bound to have this (gestures to forum) happen.
Wading through this stuff and arguing until that quality is reached is where we are. Gives you a little more respect for the one wearing the cape is my best observation of result. I'm actively working to find a better way to do both.
So many things could seem plausible if looked at a certain way. To keep that plausibility viewpoints have to be defended. When you do that you lose objectivity to certain other possibilities.
If you can appreciate how lost you feel arguing with others in forums just imagine how one person arguing with them self feels.
We have the opportunity to be involved in development of things in a way that could be used to do some extreme good.
Do you fight all the metaphorical monsters of dark and provide a safe place for fellow guardians?
Are you strong enough to stare into the unknown and see what you find there is recognized as light?
It's part of our job as guardians to do so with the lore we are giving to our digital counterparts. How often do you think before you write "If I were the character I'm writing about how would I want to live?" and share your findings? How often do you look for a problem you think about in such a way you compromise yourself to fit logic it takes to support your character doing something you wouldn't, to add in drama?
It's allot of work. More people are participating, and we as a group are beginning to know how to bring the light out in each of us.
I want to see better stories, ideas, and discussion in the lore section just like you.
It's not only more enjoyable but also a sign of progress.
Hope this helps point towards the right direction.
My community deserves it in my opinion.

The questions are basically what I can share the editor of lore would ask and answer to generate the better quality of lore. I hope by sharing more people will ask these questions and therefore provide answers and suggestions for lore more can agree on. Further more asking theses questions is how to judge and discuss lore possibility we read here and provide the quality desirable. (Not just the assessment of the story, but the tone of the discussion) Getting answers to these questions is allot of work in general. If we treat the story we give guardians like a battle against darkness, then examination of these questions is like coming up with a "Raid plan" for lore writing.

I agree with your first half, but Im a bit confused at what you're getting at on the other side. Also, *lose not loose. Local grammar dick=me, hahah
