To those who use nothing but shoulder charge
All you titans using your shoulder charge guess what?

I'm sorry to say this but shoulder charge is more of a hindrance with how vunerable it leaves you if you miss, and the amount of effort required to actually hit a competent target. (Definitely needs a hit detection buff, sometimes it does 0 damage or does not impact at all)
[b][u]You huntards wanna dodge the shoulder charge? Just strafe/slide sideways out of the way and shotgun him.
You can also jump sideways and he will usually miss. Seriously it's not hard to avoid! [/u][/b]
The movement of a titans may be fast but it is predictable and linear. Watch a titan try and turn when you sidestep him.
I've finished all my bounties as a bladedancer and am now playing defender now i will use suppression nades so titans can't even use it . Haven't been shoulder charged a single time this iron banner and I'm sure it will stay that way[/spoiler]
[spoiler]seriously tho, you titans do need some kind of shoulder charge hit detection buff, and a ward of dawn buff

12 RespostasHaving experimented with it I don't think it's in need of a buff, it's certainly easier to aim than the throwing knife (though a well timed knife will shut it down, they don't always hit.) Carrying a shotgun can mitigate the downside if you miss, as can fist if havoc. However if you turn in midair you can use the shoulder charge to turn quickly in ways I'm not sure the devs intended. To my mind the charge should go in the direction of your momentum when in midair (possibly PEREGRINE GREAVES could change that back to make them useful in PvP)

If a striker titan is rushing in then odds are they are going to use fist of havoc or shoulder charge. You can actually just move out of the way.... The only time fist of havoc annoys me is when I get shut down out of blade dance.... I cry :'-(

(I pretty much main an Arc Titan, just thought I'd add this in because I've gotten so many kills that made me laugh at the fact I shouldn't have gotten them 😂)

6 RespostasPersonally i think SC should be countered by a well timed melee attack causing your melee to absorb half of the SC damage. Happens a lot when i'm on my warlock

If someone kills me with shoulder charge it's my own fault. Should have been more aware of the radar and a charging titan. Keep on charging titans!

1 ResponderNo point in complaining about Shoulder Charge. The amount of people using shoulder charge is gonna cause it to pop up on Bungies radar. Then, they're gonna investigate it. And boom nerfed. Don't have to even talk about it. Just *smack* naturally gets nerfed.

Truth is they don't want to accept it's unbalanced due to its ridiculous aim assist/lunge that let's you hit someone even if it's impossible to reach. I even tried to twilight garrison my way out of it before when it had 2 bursts but the shoulder charge just magically follows you thanks to its aim assist. As far as "Huntards" let me tell you kid there are more "titans" complaining about everything in the game and simply shifting the blame to the "Huntards" and then greatly exaggerating it.

I've been doing it since I started on a Titan and I'm not not about to quit doing it just because a bunch of crybaby mother -blam!-ers think that an actual Titan went into Bungie's shitbox (read: sandbox) studio and handed out a couple of stupid nerfs. If they nerf it, I'll still find a way to get my 10 kills every match with it. Just like I did with Fusions and ARs between the TDB nerf-fest and TTK, I'll keep forcing it until it works. Because I actually like that combo. Not because a bunch of streamers and tryhards said it was "good". I guess that's just a result of not being a part of generation full of pussies and followers.

3 RespostasThe only time you should be killed by SC is when they come around the corner or when you're distracted and they come from behind you. If you're having titans try to run up to you face to face, they are bad players and should definitely be countered.
