#####WARNING##### THIS IS A LONG POST I joined a group for a fresh run through a hard King's Fall last night. The person posting on LFG asked for 330+ and experience, so I joined. The team was pretty good. We made it to Totems in no time. Everyone was chill, and it seemed like it was going to be a smooth run. Boy was I wrong. Unfortunately, one of the team members kept getting babooned out of the fireteam at Totems, so he left and we had to find another player. It took little time to find a sixth. Now, I'm not going to shame this person by saying his name, nor am I going to condone drinking while playing video games. [b][u]I'm simply saying that if you are so drunk that it impairs your ability to communicate properly and actually play the game, then maybe you shouldn't waste other people's precious time.[/u][/b] The new guy (let's just call him [i]Bob[/i]) joined and right off the bat, we could already tell he was going to be a problen. When some of the fireteam members made comments about his stupid name he immediately got really aggressive. Bob was spewing excrement and slurring his words. At first, we all thought he was joking, but he was serious. We all brushed it off and got down to business. We had to wipe 3 times at Totems. Why was this? Well, maybe it was because Bob was so drunk that he didn't hear when I or any of the other fireteam members called out, "switch x side." You don't even need to call it out. You should just know when deathsinger 10x is gone. During our 4th run, we got lucky at the end because Bob and another fireteam member died on the last round, but we were able to hold on for the last few seconds. Next was Warpriest. We had to wipe 2 times. Bob wasn't really paying attention the whole time and would die before the first damage cycle. He was complaining that "she" kept shooting at him. Huh, I didn't know the War[u]priest[/u] (not priestess) was a girl? On our third attempt I died during the second damage round because I had to stand on the middle plate and got demolished by the Warpriest because Bob was dead and was in the middle. We managed to kill Warpriest during the third damage round with 3 people. At this point, some of the fireteam member were upset. Bob kept yelling at everyone for being stupid and not knowing how to play the game. He would just mumble and slurr indecipherable sounds and kept talking with his girlfriend about playing Dark Souls (why didn't he leave and go play that?). Bob kept complaining about how terrible the drops were and how he just wanted to play Oryx. He kept saying he was wasted and said, "the screen is blurry and sideways, but I actually play better when I'm drunk." Once we got to Golgoroth, one of the fireteam members just ranted and yelled at him for being an @**. He asked the fireteam leader to boot him, but he didn't. Once was started Golgoroth, Bob got all angry and talked with his girlfriend saying, "he was just about done." He left after he didn't take the gaze as the 4th person. After that we found another guy, and did all the bosses from Golgoroth to Oryx in one try. Hm, I wonder what was holding us back? It took 2.5 hours to do the raid when it should've taken 1.5 hours. Many of the fireteam members wanted a quick, easy run, but this drunk @** had to waste our time. Don't get wasted and waste other people's time please. We have lives outside of Destiny.
