Okay genius. What happens when the brain doesn't get oxygen? Brain cells die. What happens when you smoke weed? You replace oxygen with the smoke, depriving brain of oxygen, therefore damaging the brain and killing brain cells. Yay science!

By your logic people lose brain cells every time they go swimming. You're an idiot.

Editado por JGFSS333: 3/24/2016 3:50:45 AMAre you retarded? Water is gud 4u

Get out.

Is cold outside

Do I look like I gaf?

-
Do you want to die?
-
-
Yeah...you have no idea what you're talking about.
-
Me? Are you seriously denying that if you stop giving oxygen to the brain, brain cells won't die? Really? You're either a troll, or you're a young kid who wishes he could go to his local drug store to get high. Either way, pay attention in school, you just might learn something which can make you money to buy your drugs.
-
Again, it's way more complex than what you're making it out to be. Thanks for playing, though. I guess Michael Phelps should be retarded by now then, huh?
-
... You can't develop retardation... You're born with it... You are in idiot who is arguing against scientific facts.
-
You said lack of oxygen to the brain = dead brain cells. So...by that mislogic, Olympic swimmers should all have permanent brain damage by now, considering they deprive themselves of oxygen multiple times a day.
-
Holding your breath does not equal oxygen deprivation. Holding it for too long? Most definitely. But with this, you are simply not bringing in any oxygen: the brain wants oxygen and it gets nothing. With smoking, the brain wants oxygen, and instead it gets the chemicals from the smoke. The smoke replaces the oxygen. Ever heard of carbon monoxide poisoning? Same concept. CO replaces the oxygen, but since CO is poisonous to us the effects are much more prominent. I'll sum it up for your simple mind: Holding breath = brain wanting oxygen, getting nothing. Not good, not bad. Smoking = brain wanting oxygen, getting smoke. Not good, bad effects over extended use.
-
Lol 3 things. 1. You need to look up the definition of the word "deprivation." 2. I already knew all that, which was why I told you to stfu, because it is way more complicated than what you were making it out to be. 3. Read the link in point 5.
-
1) I used oxygen deprivation in the sense of when it begins doing damage to your brain. If you want to get technical, every single time you take a deep breath or exhale for a fraction of a second too long, you experience oxygen deprivation. 2) So I back up my argument with facts, and you say it's too complicated? I proved my point, and you say it's too complicated? What? 3) That article is based off of literature... It has next to no credibility. Try reading something based off of science, you'll be amazed!

Okay, sir. I agree. Weed should be illegal because it's unhealthy. However, here's a list of other things I'd like to ban: 1. Boxing 2. Wrestling 3. Football 4. Hockey 5. MMA 6. Cheeseburgers 7. Ice Cream 8. Candy 9. French fries. 10. Basically all food except fruits, vegetables, and grains. Oh, you didn't know? Heart disease kills more people than anything. More than drugs. More than guns. More than alcohol. So let's just ban everything that's dangerous to our health. Oh, and contact sports are a threat to the brain. Every time you hit your head, brain cells die. So, golf, tennis, and ping pong are the only sports allowed from now on.
-
Oh how original. You know what? Cocaine is unhealthy, but it's fun too. So is acid! And morphine! And ecstasy! And shrooms! Why don't we just make everything legal despite the health risks?! Showing an extreme example contributes nothing at all to a debate.
-
Editado por Lil Durk: 3/18/2016 3:25:12 PMI could have brought up all those other drugs, but I didn't want to. I wanted to talk about weed. Again, this is my thread so deal with it. Also, to your other post: Saying: "Here's why weed should be legalized" And "Tell me why weed shouldn't be legalized" Are NOT the "exact same thing." You're an idiot if you think so, lmao.
-
You said "give me ONE good reason" implying you want it to be legal. Same thing. And you're talking about debate? Any person who knows how to debate knows that you can't just give an extreme example of one side to support your argument, it holds no value whatsoever. I brought the other extreme to prove my point.
-
And just because I want it legalized doesn't mean that's what I'm arguing. You seriously need to go back to school lol.
-
No, but the title says that's what you're arguing, and nowhere except in that one comment do you mention the hypocrisy of weed. Anyone entering this post is gonna think you want weed legalized.
-
Lol I DO want weed legalized, but that's not what the discussion is about.
