It is taking liberalism and turning it into a collective mind, literally opressing people with their beliefs. The modern democrat party uses schools,media, and Hollywood to indoctrinate people into their collective mind. They use things such as race, sex,religion,climate change to influence people to their cause. They exaggerate and even lie for their cause, and whenever proven wrong they demean the person by saying theyer bigoted for example just to turn focus away from the truths they pointed out. This part in particular drives me nuts as a conservitive. One really loud part of the progressive movement is feminists. Even after we've proven time and time again that they have equality ,that they won that is never enough for progressives, because they believe that nothing is ever enough. They make up stuff like a -blam!- culture on college campuses, a wage gap, and all claim we live in a patriarchy that is run by rich white men. Another place progressives focus is race especially blacks If you haven't noticed Democrats focus on race alot and say racism is what's causing poverty in the black community.
