Is the thorn actually op? Do you mind dying to it?
I'm not asking whether you think it should be nerfed, I'm only asking how you feel about the weapon.
Besides, we probably know the standing of those who say it is op
Edit: it's a mixed bag, but many agressive players jump around a lot, and handcannon have great airborne accuracy, so the only other viable handcannon that aids agressive movement, ever considered that's possibly why it's so used?
Edit: for those who are calling for a nerf, how would reduced fire rate sound! As worthless as it will make the gun

2 RespostasAny gun is OP if you can use it right, I don't know how many times I've attempted to use some gun other people have destroyed me with and failed terribly. It's all about YOU, the player and your preferences.

I used to it today I have less than 10 kills with in pvp lol been a year or so since I used it.. I used it, too easy lol and it was hella fun. I brought back y1 nightmares, ram, blink, matador 64, ass factory, sooo much fun

Thorn is a flaming pile of shit and anyone who thinks it's remotely OP seriously needs to reevaluate their play.

I'm not sure it's really overpowered, but it's really godamn frustrating to deal with, even in its nerfed form.

3 RespostasIts not the gun it used to be. I laugh when I see it now. Although, funny story, when I got to the hand canon kills part of Grindfest 2016 (crucible quest) I thought, damn this is gunna be easy, and pulled out my thorn. That thing was crap. I couldn't believe how far it has fallen. I used to be so proud of that gun because it was one of the few things in the game you truly earn.

10 RespostasIt is the only hand cannon in the game that can 3 shot in the body, and the only hand cannon that can do DoT. There's a reason why in organized matches you aren't allowed to have a team of thorns.

In [b]PvP only[/b] the burn only procs on a precision shot, and in [b]PvE only [/b] the burn damage is increased by 300%. That way it's useful in PvE AND PvP, and it's to too powerful in PvP anymore. [spoiler]and give all hand cannons a huge accuracy buff[/spoiler]

6 RespostasNah, Thorn is fine. Unlike many of the crying toddlers in this community, I know how to handle dot. Thorn, imo, is a great exotic weapon.

2 RespostasDefinitely OP. Don't know why something that applies a damage over time effect still hits like a hawkmoon. 3 shot body? Doesn't make sense. It needs lower impact. I'm fine with the burn, but 3 body shots and they die? Come on.

The only thing that bothered me was when you got hit it messed with your vision. Other than that if I got killed by it it was my own fault. You gotta watch those corners.

It's OP, I've used it a lot and it definitely gives you an advantage once you get used to the gun. If you run it with a sunsinger lock which I did for awhile with firebolts and flame shield you can play really aggressive

I think it's almost over powered but not quite it's bloody annoying to get killed by the DOT but it's not as bad as year one before the handcannon nerf it was OP then now not really just annoying

I do mind dying to it so that's why I get even by bringing out my Queensbreaker Bow to counter it. It used to be The Last Word but now everyone has it so I stuck with the Queensbreaker Bow to stand out from the rest xD
