Hi! So I've played for over a year, but I can't seem to improve my kd. I got the game two weeks after launch, and I bought it with the white ps4 bundle. Honestly, this game was my first console fps, I went from PC to console. I don't want to delete any characters, especially my hunter since she's my main, and I've grown attached to her.
What are some tips to help improve my kd in crucible?
I have a 0.84 at the moment and my goal is to get to 1.0, then I'll gradually have a higher goal.
Please leave a comment! Any helpful tip is greatly appreciated! :))
I'll get one tip over with, git gud is out lol
Edit: Thank you so much for the tips guys!! :'))
Edit 2: This is trending? :'0

2 RespostasDon't rush. Imagine the battlefield is like a game of dodgeball. There's an imaginary line you can't pass or your dead. Your goal is to push that enemy line backwards towards them and push them into a bad spot. Make sense?

what helped me is getting used to objective games first like control, it helped me know the maps, the keys points and choke points esspecially with larger groups and then start moving to skirmish and rumble. im now the best but that helped me get better.

map/radar awareness are very important the weapon types you are using are important for map awareness as well. it helps varying your weapons to suite the map, but if you really prefer one weapon type then try to play to that weapons strengths. i use HCs most of the time, so i try to keep all my engagements at that close-mid range area ( my eyasluna has insane range). if youre good with scouts try to keep engagements at a distance. use a side arm or shotty as a special for backup when you need to fight close quarters because your scout isnt as reliable up close. another good strategy is to go in with a fireteam and stick together, odds are you'll wreck anyone you come across.

I'm trying to get my warlocks up too. Best bit of advice I've had is focus on less deaths instead of more kills. Play more defense than offense. Also run 6v6 more than other modes. Less actual attention on you as an individual so more chance to make a kill and/or evade. I didn't start my titan until after I heard this and he's 1.0 (I'm at best an average pvper ). Problem for me is I'm a team player. If we're losing I find it hard to play defensively when the rest of the team are having to go straight offense.

1 ResponderEditado por SLIMTENSITY: 3/6/2016 8:11:49 PMI'm still not a great Crucible player, but I've come a long way since I struggled through around a .7 K/D using only a Warlock the first four months the game was out. First, I'd say that you should find a style that works best for you. Sometimes players want to be aggressive, which is what I prefer to do. I'm willing to give up a few deaths to shake up the opposition, get a few kills and teammates will clean up the rest. Others prefer to hang back, which is where you'll get the higher K/D by playing safe. Long-range weapons like a scout rifle and sniper are ideal there. Try to practice first in PvE if the speed of the Crucible is challenging, and once you get quicker try it out in matches. Find weapons and perks that are comfortable for you because that's all that matters. Don't be afraid to experiment. Second, once you find your comfort zone with your weapons/style and building armor that benefits that style, learn the maps. Watch how enemies and even your own teammates approach situations and certain angles. It even helps to watch gameplay of other people, be it on Twitch or YouTube, to see what they do and how they respond. This part takes straight-up practice. Once you learn the maps and routes, try to find one spot on each map that's a comfort zone with decent cover and good angles. Don't camp there all match long, but know that if you have an opportunity to go there, take it. It helps to have familiarity and to practice playing from one spot. Third, and probably the most important, is to make sure you're relaxed and having fun. It helps to play with skilled teammates but ultimately you're playing a game with meaningless numbers and outcomes. Winning is great but you should enjoy yourself, even if you get slaughtered while practicing. The most skilled of players will still have bad games, it will happen to anyone, and if you find that you're getting upset or frustrated, just switch it up; play some PvE for a while instead to clear your mind, or put the game down entirely for a little while. Each game is a learning experience, so take that mindset with you, trust in your skills, be ready to adapt, and enjoy the game. Hope this helps, best of luck to you.

1) Play smart 2) Don't rush long hallways with open lines of sight. These are a sniper's dream. 3) Don't use a shotgun unless your primary is a Scout Rifle 4) Sidearms outrange shotguns 5) Kill more things than kill you
-
Hard scope with a sniper like most bitches do in this game. No confrontation and you don't need skill. Just double body shot or body shot and pull out last word. Easy k-d riser

Hard scope in a corner

Editado por Deluxe Nachos: 3/6/2016 7:18:08 PMI've heard not dying helps
lol nah but for real just set a goal to get 2-3 kills at the minimum before dying. And think about your situation before running into a room or anything. You're playing against real people, capable of thought and strategy. Your goal is to outsmart and outplay them.
1 ResponderPlay with a team that compliments your play style, be ready to learn new tactics or equipment (different guns, etc.), Know your optimal match up and build to that effect. Other than that watching streamers to learn map routes and gun metas doesn't hurt.

2 RespostasI would help but you're on ps soo good luck scrub

Follow team, think team team team snd dont engage 2v1 situations unless you absolutely feel you can like if you have super or heavy. Most importantly and pay attention here........ ......
