Why the tiny crucibaby population rules this game will always be a mystery. Thx for ruining half the weapons in the game for pve players. Can't even, wouldn't dare use a shotgun or launcher in the raid...ever, anymore. Even my own clanmates would boot me.

Because those weapons are totally useless for the raid in it's current design? If they hadn't removed the ability to do the earlier raids and level gear up to current light levels the usefulness of those weapons would be intact. Has literally nothing to do with PvP in any way at all. That's like trying to blame the sun for tides. Also I'm guessing (but I'm also almost definitely right) there are a lot more PvP players than there are purely PvE players.

Editado por CannyJack: 2/20/2016 6:09:10 PMThat's not PvP's fault, though -- that's a raid design flaw. The raid has one primary mechanic: get in the bubble and deal maximum damage as fast as possible for a very short amount of time. The only loadout that works for that is scout/sniper/machine gun. Now...if you want to argue that the devs designed the raid that way because they want to promote the scout/sniper/MG Crucible loadout, I'm not gonna argue: there's no way to know if that's true. Seems like a lot more forethought than Bungie usually demonstrates.

Except all end game PvE promotes distance from a target. Doesn't change the fact that outside the end game, and even during end game where you are not in a boss fight, weapons like hand cannons and auto rifles have been ruined. Same can be said for shotguns.

Some hand cannons and auto rifles are still great... Shotguns were nerfed too hard, but that was just really poor communication from Bungie. The range on shotguns in PvP was an issue and they just nerfed anything and everything, except the main problem. Similar to Titan HoS nerfs. They -blam!-ed that ability. It's still bugged months later and doesn't function properly.

Guess all that jazz about weapon diversity was bullshit.
