It hasn't even been a day and that new system is pretty much locked off to everyone who already referred a friend themselves. I get why. They want to extend the players but no one is gonna use it. I want to but I can't because no one is available to do so.
I'm just saying, I want to do the quests but the 7 day lock really -blam!-s year 1 players who brought their friend along with them already. It isn't like it gives the referee the game. No one is gonna buy it just to help their friend get a quest unlocked.
I think you guys just need to fix it. I'm perfectly happy doing two player missions with a friend and would even enjoy it.
And to you my fellow guardians join me in creating noise. As the great Jim Sterling said. The only way to make change is to make noise. #CreateTheNoise

Experienced XBOXONE destiny player looking for a new player to get the refer a friend quest rewards. Let's be honest it's unlikely I will find someone to do this with and yes I'm doing it for mostly selfish reasonS but bottom line is I'm a first month player 1000+ hours have completed just about everything you can in the game and I'm willing to level you to 40 and complete all the required steps. So if you're interested let me know. Pst me on here for a invite code. 317-Hunter 316-Titan 316-Lock

6 RespostasEditado por YanniTrendz: 11/25/2015 2:17:48 PMIt is surprising that for a game thriving on the frequent activity of its community; there is no incentive shown for existing players to play on, and no loyalty to the base of people that established a highly grossing (*cough*) masterpiece. It is disappointing to see that time and time again, quick cash grabs are preferred over the longevity of a series... Which will in the long run, make more money than one or two $10.99 dance emotes. I understand that as newer games are released, a player base slowly diminishes. However the answer to such a problem is not to increase the demand for income without content at an equal rate. It would be a much wiser business decision to suffer the loss of a few players and instead focus on delivering another breathtaking awe inspiring masterpiece in a following expansion (or game for that matter). I have conquered the Vault of Glass and challenged Atheon on his Glass Throne. I have descended the Hellmouth and slain Crota with his own sword. I have braved the likes of Skolas, self proclaimed "Kell of Kells" I have challenged Oryx and many minions of the darkness. I have continued to follow the lineage of warlocks, hunters, and Titans alike in the search for Toland, Kabr, and all of our fallen. I will not however continue to pledge loyalty to a greedy bungievision. - Week One Founder Guardian.

Yup. The only reason my two brothers have Destiny is because I convinced them to buy it (one played long enough to do VoG once and quit) and I can't use either for a referral. Nobody else that I know who cares one bit about the game doesn't already have it.

Bought the game new at release over,a year ago. Had beta codes but wasn't able to play do to work. 3 weeks into it I talked my wife into playing it with me. She had so much fun she went out and bought a destiny edition ps4. Now we game together. Why all the sudden does bungie need referrals? Is the game tanking that bad? I didn't ask for or receive anything for getting my wife to play, so why now all the sudden do we get stuff for getting others to play? Sounds fishy to me.

1 ResponderLol so Bungie read this thread and says NOTHING about it.

5 RespostasEditado por technoguy1754312: 11/25/2015 4:23:22 AMThis game was really something before i thought this was a game for friendship co op and having fun. But like always there comes a change now people have fights over new over old pitty. Sadly when i look on the forums seeings this and trying. I ask myself why but then thought what a pointless question. This game lost its touch its fundamental moments we spent. This however i just could not grip. It best to realize people want progress so the old rejected left to fall apart shamed. While the new bring lots. So my example to this i will not say but a adult will know just as i would. Its this [spoiler]refer a friend is like a abuse check system if your not on it you are dismissed. Enjoy because its turned out to be that way with a catch.

I asked everyone at work and they already got the ttk, idk who else to ask...

Just here for my daily bump

Are bungie making the game they want to make like they said they are doing in the brave new world video on YouTube? Are they calling the shots like they claim to be?

They should make a heroic version for the vets or day 1 players. Maybe set a requirement like the moments of triumph. Then once you and the friend meet those requirements it would be cool if it unlocked a heroic version that could only be completed by those 2 ppl. They could either give the same rewards or make them a little different since you're not helping a new player. I know the system is meant to bring new players but I'm out of ppl to refer. Or perhaps fix it to where you can delete a character and start fresh? Either way it's no big deal but it would be a really nice gesture from bungie to take care of the players who already have 8 or 10 friends they know irl playing destiny.

I agree this is madness and very poorly timed. They could of done this at TTK launch and It would have worked out for most of us. Oh yea and is it just me or is Warlocks not getting a new exotic armor with the next batch cause all I seen was the Titan and Hunter chests?

4 Respostasdo you need both of you on for the quest? cause I was just gonna create another account, refer myself and then solo the quests

1 ResponderEditado por jonathanpride: 11/25/2015 2:45:26 PMI could care less about the refer a friend rewards. It's the disrespect that Bungie shows to it's veteran players that is pissing everyone off. I had such high hopes for Destiny knowing that it came from the creators of Halo. One of the most successful fps multiplayer games ever made. Halo revolutionized the standards of what a multiplayer should be. Im not going to list all the ways it has inspired all future fps games but it made over shield regenerating health bar popular. Custom game modes. The skull rewards system that did away with using cheat codes. It brought vehicles into multiplayer. So when I heard they was making a new game that was going to be a online fps with mmo elements. I was over joyed. Then the E3 gameplay it seemed like an open world mmofps where you could go anywhere with no boundaries. I think this is what sold a lot of people on the game. Something happened a year before the release of Destiny it became a shell of what is was supposed to be. All the lore was put in the little cards you get for completing challenges and the cards wasn't even put in the game. You had to go to their website if you wanted to understand the reason you was even playing the game. The game was cut into DLCs and everyone knew this because people were finding ways to glitch into the future maps locked away in the disc. When Bungie partnered with Activision and gave them to much control of the games development a company solely based on making money and who could care less about the interest of what hardcore gamers want. That's when it failed at been a game company. TL:DR Activision bad.

As a veteran player of this game I feel very disrespected by this whole idea of refer a friend. refer a friend is what we all did for the entire first year of the game! and then on top of that they make it so if you make a second account and play with a friend, you'd still have to buy the taken King again! So is veterans can literally never get the new emotes and other things. I'm don't with this game. done with bungie. and done with activision
