Snipers are becoming an epidemic. Limit special ammo.
Bungie has taken action on shotguns but has done nothing about snipers. The major problem is snipers can play through the whole match with nothing but a sniper. Special ammo my ass. There's nothing special about it if you can get it through the whole match. It should drop along with heavy ammo so you would have to choose which one you will pick up.
Also, i find myself fighting snipers up close to mid-range. Players will say to keep out of sniper lanes, but snipers are everywhere. There is no escape. Lol. It should be impossible for snipers to be able to kill you at a close range. Snipers are a long distance weapon. It's like a shotgun killing someone from across the map.
Finally, snipers don't seem to be bothered by being shot at. I can blast a sniper with whatever weapon, including heavy machine guns, and they just stand there and snipe me in the head. Not sure if this is lag or what. But it's infuriating. You should not be able to snipe under fire. That's why snipers belong at long distances. I'm not really calling for a nerf just limit special ammo to where you can't troll with your special through the whole match.
Edit 1: Lol, look at all the snipers giving me hate. Sniper rifles are on the chopping block at Bungie headquarters as we speak. Just a matter of time before something is done. It's Ok, if it makes you feel better to attack me then go ahead. Come at me haters.

Totally disagree. Spent the last few matches scuttling around constantly on the hunt for special ammo.... then realised... this game isn't fun anymore. And turned it off.

Somebody's upset they can't snipe. Complains about a gun that has at most 5 or 6 shots. Requires a steady hand and quick aim i.e. skill to use. But shotguns are fine? Just blast away without aiming and use the same special ammo all map? You are a genius.

People acting like sniping is even hard in the first place. Using a shot gun is easy. Using a sniper is easy. They're both easy to use. They both should be limited.

2 RespostasNot having a go in any way, but stop bitching just because your crutch has been made 1mm shorter. Sniping is infinitely harder than running around with a shotgun, all I've see in ib killfeed is people going on killstreaks, with just their shotgun. It's not our fault you get taken out without you seeing us on your radar, maybe if actual tactics were used and people didn't just hold down Sprint we wouldn't find it so satisfying to blow your cheesy heads off :) snipers aren't on the chopping block, you've got wishful thinking and are hoping and baiting other cheap killers to jump on the band wagon. Good luck to you, just remember, a good sniper will still get a hole through your face. Regardless of the aim assist.

Certain maps are brutal playing against good snipers. Surprisingly, had only a few games with a majority of the team sniping. If you get matched against them, I can see the annoyance. At least the other special weapons are close quarters.

It's hard as hell to snipe under fire. You either time the flinching to get it between shots or you aim low and let the flinch get the head shot for u.

They've already nerfed special ammo quantity. You used to pick up a lot more from each box, weapons had field scout, and each box respawned quicker.

I sucked at sniping... I cant quickscope I cant dragscope I cant 420noscope When sniping im hardscoping like crazy My reflex is bad So... Since vanilla im only using sniper with high AA (prudence II is my favorite) Everyone had their preference, dont push your preference to other people
