Eh after playing my hunter for the last 3 months of have to disagree, the Hunter is a high risk high gain class, warlocks are low risk high gain, I thought hunters were the most obnoxious class way back at the beginning but spending some time playing it showed me otherwise. I suppose that is what allows me to make this statement, I've spent a lot of time with all 3 classes and just found warlocks to be grossly over shadowing the other 2, titans obviously in last lol.
I always tell people in this kind of situation, want to find the most op/user friendly weapon or class in a game? See what you run into the most. Its very difficult to argue with that. Hunters were at the top when destiny launched. I'm now seeing warlocks surpass hunters in pvp

Hunters are high risk VERY high gain. The more skilled you are the more of an advantage you gain through the class. I'm competitive play that's the definition of OP. Warlocks are only even close to hunters in Trials, and even then a golden gun being able to wipe the enemy team solo on command is still very often the better choice. This effect is multiplied further if you are good enough to just not wipe that often in elim. Then hunters are exponentially stronger.

I'm an elimination situation maybe but they are a 1 hit headshot. Hunters have a few good skills that make them a pain, both supers are good, arcbolt is ok, tripling is a potential 1 hit of you're lucky, backstab is good and obviously blink, but other than that, they don't have a whole lot of obnoxiously powerful skills, pretty much supers and some decent grenades

Uhh the super is literally the only thing that matters, other parts of subclasses are flavor. GG has the lowest cooldown, biggest chance to wipe the enemy team in one super, and chains HARD. Easiest trials run I've ever had was 3 GGs. Because as soon as one of us got it, we won that round with a double kill or triple, then gave the super to the next ally via orbs. 8/9 wins went exactly like this Round 1/2 default, usually wins. Heavy round bumrush them with first GG because everyone camps their heavy in trials, it was literally a triple every heavy round. Followed by another GG win, then another. 3 GGS, 3 wins per match. 9/0 with no boons, lost maybe 2 rounds, all before the GG train.

Im glad people are beginning to understand warlock is the best for pvp.
