Then what kind of game would you love to make?
I would love to create a horror survival game in a haunted mansion. First Person too. I don't enjoy 3rd person in these kind of games.
I'd make it so that escaping from the haunted mansion is possible, but extremely hard to achieve. I'd also implement some kind of sanity system where if you gain more insanity it will be easier for ghosts/spirits to hunt you down. Of course you'll be able to get your sanity back to normal with certain things that you can do that I don't know of now.
But there's not just ghosts or spirits creatures. Also organic monsters, undead creatures and other kinds of shizzle. I'd also make it look really detailed because that makes the experience much more better with being immersive. And imagine bloody/gory stuff. >:3
Would you play this horror survival game of mine in a huge haunted mansion that you have to escape?
And share your game ideas too! :D

2 RespostasI'd probably make something like Destiny, but reversed. Rather than sci-fi theme with fantasy aspects, it would be a fantasy game with sci-fi aspects.
-
I would make an intense pvp fps for warhammer 40000.
-
I really like the idea of a game with time travel involved, like a fps game where you go back in time and you can change the past in order to make the present easier or harder if you -blam!- up.
-
1 ResponderOP I like your idea....I want to subsidise that with 50$ million....

1 ResponderLike outlast OP?

Editado por Snowy Infinite: 7/25/2015 11:26:34 PMSet in a post apocalyptic universe like that of fallout's. In the prologue, instead of a random civilian, you are a scientist but dies because you failed an experiment which accidentally causes a large explosion, a terrorist cell in Russia claims responsibility for it. Peace talks turn to war talks and sooner or later somebody launches a missile which causes the opposition to do the same until society appears to be destroyed. Then the title of the game comes on the screen and you realise it was the prologue. Now you begin 89 years later as a young/ old criminal running drugs or something through the streets of London, you get to the destination and realise you have been set up by the future antagonist for a fake deal which ends in a fight but you ultimately being beaten up and thrown into a makeshift prison, you look in the mirror and it leads to the character design screen. In this prison you meet your companion choices either a guard who hates his job and can help you out, your cell mate who has a plan (not to mention anger management problems) or a dog who you see out on the streets just outside of your cell. Im bot going to go into detail about the middle bit but let's just say you escape, form a gang, build gang HQ, can defend it in side quests, and try to diminish the antagonist's gangs reputation and seize control over their territory. During this period you meet a character who you form a relationship with, and this counts towards the end goal. A spike in radiation in the river Thames causes the main food source to be contaminated, people under your control start to die and there begins an out break of disease, referred to as 'the fungus' and you have to stop it by either building science labs to research a cure or raiding other science labs getting the same job done but losing you karma. A karma system influences the main story line, and is influenced by your actions, e.g. completing side quests = +karma, bad actions like killing npcs or raiding other labs =-karma. High karma leads to different missions than low karma, for example; The final boss battle, by destroying the antagonist's rep and control you have forced him back to his last stronghold: Big Ben/ Houses of Parliament. High karma leads to a mission where you are backed by lots of people when storming what he has made a palace. While low karma leads to an ending where you are just backed by your companion when infiltrating what he has made into a high security fortress. Both boss battles are roughly the same. Maybe this could become a reality if i could be asked to learn code Edit #1: forgot to mention that this is an open world action/ RPG

Is want to make a terrifying horror game focused around the rake or Bigfoot or something like that. It might be like dead space but first person. People had already been attacked by these creatures and some neighborhoods have been overrun. Your job would be to hunt down the nests of these creatures. The creatures might also be able to impregnate humans like aliens or something to make it even more scary. Idk I love cryptids and things like that

6 RespostasHonestly, if I could make any game that fits me, I'd be sued by Bethesda. Fallout style for sure. I always thought a Predator rpg would be siiiiiick. Travel from world to world, collecting trophies, making custom armor. BUT only die hard predator fans would buy it.

2 RespostasEditado por PizzaMan725: 7/25/2015 7:17:14 PMI'm actually making a retro RPG game right now. Just practicing stuff with the engine because while I am a coder and could/have made a game before, my art skills definitely do not match up. Lol So I recently sunk some money into engines and graphic software and have been tinkering for the last month of so. Right now I'd say depending on how quick you can find the actions to push the story, it may have about 2 hours of play time for the first arc. Thanks to a few videos, tips and lots of practice I'm getting better with the art side now. I have animated battlers for a 3d effect during fights. Also I've been getting into layered mapping to have lighting and other effects. I eventually plan on making a good turn based RPG with crossovers of some elements from a few games. I don't see it happening right now, but maybe one day.

I'd make a hyper-surreal first person horror game based around Lovecraft. A good one. The story would be based around a Celtic warrior who's homeland has become infertile. He sets out to seek the help of Crom Cruach, the Twisted God of Blood. To gain his aid he must show Crom Cruach that he is courageous. Courage is the only thing Crom Cruach adores amongst the vile sub-species. To show that you're courageous he will use his power to have you face many other Lovecraftian entities. puzzles and shit.

I'm actually gonna be working on a game soon. It's just me and my friend making it. It's a little top down zombie shooter. Nothing to creative and first game so it's obviously gonna be trash.
-
1 ResponderI would probably make something like BF, only you're in the CIA. Sort of like that one mission in MW2 in the terminal. Where you go undercover most of the time.
-
Anyone else notice OP's game sounds like Amnesia:The Dark Descent

I would make a proper space survival game. Not with aliens and shmuck, but rather in the space stations orbiting earth. It would have to be slightly in the future, to have more stations to scavenge and randomly generated. All of the stations would be void of other people, but you can use them to communicate with the surface and find able resources to survive until a rescue shuttle is sent for you, or rip apart what is avalible and construct something sturdy enough to break orbit. Things to manage would be simple food and water, but also oxygen. Oxygen can be replenished in stations or air tanks, along with 'space food' and water common among space stations. Oxygen will deteriorate slowly, yet can also be expelled to propel you in the zero-gravity enviroment(not in the stations though). Power for the stations would be limited, but slowly(like a few days) recover in sunlight from the solar panels(mainly to keep the player moving and not camp at a station the entirety of the game). As far as story goes, your an astronaut that was sent to repair a satelite and as you exit the atmosphere, nuclear war starts to ravage the surface(yes, very cliche, but to extend the rescue teams response?) The character will record audio logs every 'day'(or pass around earth) to remind the player of the goal of surviving. Really, someone else could do better or already had this idea, but the base is here if anyone wants to elaborate thier opinion.
-
I would create a Star Wars game a little similar to what "No Man's Sky" will be in size but with elements of "The Force Unleashed" or maybe "KOTOR". Also have fights with bosses like Mortal Kombat. Imagine creating a Sith empire where you could have fights with your friends to see who is the master and go out and conquer other planets.

7 RespostasEditado por Pheint3d: 7/25/2015 4:37:06 AMYour game idea is cool as hell. I'd end up with a huge enormous wall of text if I said my idea. I had my idea stored somewhere and accidentally deleted it. Really pissed me off. I do have another rough draft. I made changes to the characters and story, but this rough drafts the basic concept. Throughout the years, mankind has both revealed it's capabilities of being incompetent and competent. Going to war with neighboring countries, being deceived by secret societies and governments ruled by the dictation of a puppeteer. Throughout the years, mankind has finally unraveled great mysteries, and made great strives to break away from the fabricated reality they used to live in. In the Year 20xx, mankind has not only discovered they are not alone in the universe, but have made great allies with these other civilizations. Strengthening each others weaknesses, and learning from each other to face the questions of the unknown world that they all seek to answer. A group of travelers set on a quest to find the answers to an age old question still unanswered in the current date...the origins of the Universe....and why are we here..have gone missing mysteriously after their last update of discovering what they refer to as the "shattered" world. It is up to you and your comrades to find out where they've gone, what they've found, and why they've vanished. Venture into the shattered world to discover ancient worlds riddled in danger. Discover what lies ahead, and who else is searching for answers. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Key components to the New world. Species, weapons, augmentations Available Augmentations Unlock consciousness levels : Remote view (Scan, Decoy,) Telekinesis (Push, Pull, Lift), Cell Regen (Life/spirit Cell Refill, negate Life drain/parasite). Intellect upgrade : Gravitational Device (Thruster ability) , AI shield (Reduce/Negate intertia) , Agile implants (Speed boost, jump boost), Defensive implants (callous, Reduce damage) Energy projection : Astral beam (Particle shot) , AF shield (Astral shield), Life transfer (Heal team mate and self) That's pretty much it for the rough draft. I feel like a nerd sharing this haha

3 RespostasA dark, open world survival kind of game. I've always wanted to do something like that.
-
Halo wars 2, just gonna put this out there, I wouldn't mind making a moba though.
-
I've always wanted to make a Diablo - like game but instead of it being "kill as much shit as fast as you can" I'd make it more tactical. Maybe have WASD move you. You aim in the direction you want to attack with your mouse, left click could be an attack and right could also be an attack if dual wielding or if you had a shield it'd raise it to block an attack. So that way you have a diablo game but it's just more tactical.

i want to make a game that has interesting bosses. Not sponges

Editado por Jerin Shaido: 7/25/2015 7:03:50 AMI'd be very diverse.. From transformers online... There has not been a successful one yet.. Or if I can't get the license I'd revive the Go-bot franchise... I'd make games were your a space pirate, Able to board and take other ships... Much like Pirate Gold but in space... I would definitely buy the license to spores and do it up right... I would clone the spit out of games like GTA and Elder scrolls, and steal a lot of concepts from sword art online..
