Final Question: Does Grimoire really matter?
I have always ran across a few people who have higher grimoire than me and think they are better at me than the game. To be honest, I think those people go to Destiny Tracker and grind all day for +5 Grimoire each time. The real question here is this:
Does Grimoire really tell who you are?
My opinion: Sort of
Edit 1: Seems like we are having a contest here about who has the highest Grimoire even though this wasn't the main point. (Max=3665)

Edit 3: Some people have been telling me that I grind for Grimoire. That is not true as I stopped at 3550. It may be high but that is because I played the game a lot since day 1. Never wasted time killing 250 ogres ect..

Editado por KannibalKlown: 9/14/2015 6:40:15 PMNothing really I mean if the guy has a 1600 or 1700 score then chances are he's still new to the game: just finished the vanilla story and what not So then chances are he or she won't know much about the raids or maybe some common tactics or perhaps how to best use some powers or supers. Not that he's bad, he may have great fps skills, but might not know everything for harder content. But that's about it. If it's low low then I'd just assume they just haven't learned everything yet.

It may be an indication of how well the individual understands the game. Also, their commitment and enjoyment from it. Thats how I would like to look at it. Some grimoire is achieved from accomplishments others from simply finding or killing things. Someone with 3600 should understand how to raid lol lets just say that. I think I have 3705?? Its some stupidly high number

3 RespostasLet me clear up the grimoire=dead ghosts claim. Ghost account for about 5 grimoire each. Some Ghosts count for 10 or 15 though. There are 77 dead ghosts. 77x5=385. Let's just round that up to approximately 550. Fair enough? Only 550 score out of a possible 3620 (xb) or 3665 (ps) can be given to you by finding dead ghosts. While that is a substantial gain, it is not the key factor for a high grimoire. You say Grimoire doesn't show skill? Let me brake it down. Where did the other 3,000 points come from? It shows you have played a variety of PvE and PvP content, and that you have done them [u]multiple[/u] times. It shows commitment to the game. Whether that is a good or bad thing is up for debate. Now, grimoire means, for the most part, [u]experience[/u]. You do not need a high grimoire score to be good. You can have a natural talent at the game. But: talent+experience=skill When talent is refined with experience, that makes a player skilled. [i][b]Being able to analyze the situation and go where you are needed without anyone having to tell you to. [/b][/i] That is why grimoire, to me, means skill. [b]Usually[/b] anyway. I will play with anyone, it doesn't matter to me. But, I will prefer people who have a higher score. I feel I can trust them to know what is going on.

Depends. Grimoire in no way indicates skill. That said, it is a good indication of how experienced they are at the game. So if you were to run a raid with about anyone higher than 3000, I can't promise they'll be good at the raid, but I'd bet they know the mechanics.
