Weapon usage has nothing to do with a Certain archetype being broken & overpowered
Guns are Nerfed or adjusted when they perform in ways they're not supposed to, not because every1 uses them
Destiny 1 fusions Performed like fusions, in D2 they perform like snipers, so no point on having Linear fusion rifles in this game i guess

Actually, linears should be special. Until that gets changed then leave the rest of the fusion rifles alone But it won’t be changed because of PvE apparently in which case they should be made to OHK body shot in crucible to justify them in the heavy slot and nerf their ammo in crucible to 2 or 3 shots instead of 5 even though thy will never happen either

No but it does point to some guns being more powerful and better/easier to use than others. Not all shotguns are made equal, there are reasons why DRB and mindbenders would contribute to the majority of shotgun use in pvp.

Edited by ClovenTrack620: 2/8/2020 1:52:27 AMpeople keep talking about DRB & MindBenders, but can those shotguns kill at Pulse or Scout range like Fusions? cmon, why is it so hard for players to admit when some guns are broken I loved deatroying people With D1 Vex Mythoclast or King Suros Regime, but i knew those guns were Broke AF, and when they got nerfed it was all good cause every1 knew they had it coming

I agree that fusions need a nerf to range. But it’s not like it’s dominating Pvp. HC and shotguns are dominating the game and of the goal is to broaden the range of weapons being used then other guns need to be improved or those need to be nerfed.

Edited by ClovenTrack620: 2/8/2020 3:40:57 AMno offense, but that mentality is why Bungie has never been able to achieve a decent amount of weapon balance in Destiny's history cause they feel like the best way to make an Archetype useful is to Nerf other Gun types, instead of Buffing the stuff that underperforms
-
Edited by BC1 Edge: 2/8/2020 2:01:47 AMI did say improve (which is buffing) guns that aren’t being used. I prefer this approach but bungie’s thinking is that this will make pve activities too easy then.
