No D3, they're working on that Chinese joint project and milking D2 for the time being to keep some people in jobs.

The Chinese project isn't a thing. Netease are a licence to sell western games in Asia. The 100m investment was to allow the new game in 2024 to be sold in Asia n netease wanted in on the profits, no netease, no Asian market. Blizzard use netease a lot, n they secured this before the Activision split.
