No. All they have to do is add a requisite number of kills & damage done to the boss to qualify for post-match rewards (rep, engrams, marks, etc). If you're AFK so long that you don't meet the minimum requirements, you don't get shit.

They have this, if you don't damage the boss you don't get endgame rewards. Came in last year I think? I was on Omnigul the other day, spent the whole boss fight clearing adds so the other two could bubble and sword Omnigul in peace. I got no rewards at all, not even 278 rare boots.

What if you're helping a lower level and you demolish most of the enemy's? What about the little guy?

Players shouldn't be rewarded for getting carried.

The weak need guided, and rewarded. Pretend like you were never carried for anything.

I've [b][u]never[/u][/b] been carried in any game. I pull my own weight (phrasing), or I learn to improve until I can. Call me crazy, but I dig the sense of accomplishment when I beat something (phrasing).

You have one character at 265....you haven't even gotten to a stage where carrying is needed.

I'll never get to that stage... Like I said, I've never needed to be carried in my life and I never will and I've played a hell of a lot more difficult games than this. I'm generally good enough to carry my own weight straight away and if I'm not, I improve until I am. I neither need, nor want, other people earning shit for me -- in games, or in life.
