Have you got the Braytech osprey rocket launcher from the Strange Terrain nightfall? , that is the last Braytech weapon and it's right there with Sins Of The Past, but more velocity
Have you got sleeper simulant or Polaris lanse ? , Have you got worldline zero ?
And you are not 385 yet, and haven't done escalation or spire , those are endgame activities that give players incentive to get to a higher level. You can't say it didn't last when you just gave up instead of finishing it !!!
That's like giving up halfway up the mountain and saying the climb didn't last long enough.
Have you got the Braytech osprey rocket launcher from the Strange Terrain nightfall? , that is the last Braytech weapon and it's right there with Sins Of The Past, but more velocity
don’t really care about velocity on a pve rocket launcher enough to grind a strike.
Have you got sleeper simulant or Polaris lanse ? , Have you got worldline zero ?
no because i have no reason to. none of them are outstanding. i’ll probably get sleeper but i don’t want a sword, and slow firing scouts are not my thing at all.
And you are not 385 yet, and haven't done escalation or spire , those are endgame activities that give players incentive to get to a higher level. You can't say it didn't last when you just gave up instead of finishing it !!!
a number next to my name is not incentive. incentive is good weapons as rewards from these activities. spire of stars has arguably the two worst weapons of the leviathan set and yes the escalation protocol weapons are good and unique but not enough to warrant me grinding for days worth of playtime to get high enough level.
That's like giving up halfway up the mountain and saying the climb didn't last long enough.
you climb a mountain because you want to climb a mountain. climbing a mountain is an impressive feat and demonstrates your physical prowess. it makes you feel achieved. i play a video game for fun. i play it for the fun weapons that make shooting things in crucible and in pve more enjoyable, not for the purpose of feeling achieved. there is one weapon i have found in the warmind expansion that i heard of and knew i had to grind for, so i sat down one day and grinded for it for 6 hours until i got it (the frigid jackal). no other weapons jump out at me as “wow, these seem hard to get, but if i put in the time and get them it will make the game much more fun”. sure the escalation smg would be fun with a primary smg and a peacekeeper titan in pvp but at the end of the day it will probably make the game fun for a while but that will get old after probably a day worth of playing.

So what you've said is that you simply don't want to do the rest of the DLC. It's not that it didn't last, it's that it didn't hold YOUR interest.

Edited by michael: 5/29/2018 7:14:52 PMit does say the words “did not last a month for me” in the title.

Again, he didn't even DO THE CONTENT. How can he say it didn't last when he didn't even do it? So again what he means is that he didn't enjoy the DLC enough to complete it, which is vastly different than saying the content didn't last a month.
-
because i have no reason to do it. if THE CONTENT had fantastic weapons that gave me a reason to play it then of course i would be grinding happily. but at this point the only thing that grinding this game will do for me is bring up the number on my nametag with some slightly better weapons along the way, and slightly better doesn’t cut it when we are talking about weeks worth of time playing.

That's fine, then be honest and say that you didn't enjoy it enough to finish it. Period. See how easy that is?
-
i did say that in the original post.

Seems to me that you are in it for the loot only. Which is totally fine if that's your thing. So for you the loot wasn't worth it. For me I like the content and enjoy playing it, the loot is really secondary.
