Sorry, not sorry, the BS that has taken place has been taking place for years, and now these people want to speak up, right... WTH were they when this business turned the base game into a microtransaction game knowing they literally ripped everything out of Destiny to make a barebone cosmetic game???
Oh, that's right, spreading lies about the base game before it was released on "how good it was" after being invited to the studio to play D2, and having to sign an NDA while advertising the shop helping this business push the shop. You know, the beta that this business also lied about that "wasn't the actual base game". I've watched these last 6+ years on how these fake people supported all the BS this business threw out there, giving this business the free advertisement to do so so they could get a piece of the action. Then there were the "community summits", where they signed another NDA and feed the community more BS, and most of you took that bait as well trying to pass off "Streamers are helping this business fix the game".
Stop posting stupid videos of fake people pretending they care, they are no better than this business knowing they supported all the BS this business pulled for all these years.

I agree that ordinary gamer is a bit of a tool, but my friend here used it as a summary of whats going on. We have been consistent in calling out every point in Destiny's history, though.

How is SOG a tool?

Read the one reply with the other guy for my answer to that; I'm mostly using hyperbole anyway.
We have been consistent in calling out every point in Destiny's history, though.
I'll agree that a small portion of the community has, but when you look at the fact of how many players play that never use any source of media what's being said never reaches them. Then if you take into consideration the portion of the community that claims "the shop doesn't affect the game" and defends every little thing this business does that is pushed on this forum a lot, plus the steamers pushing the shop all these years. All that majorly outweighs the hand full of players calling this business out on whatever point in Destiny history that it hasn't really done anything in 9 years to get this business to stop trying to take advantage of the players. All this business had to do and have done a few times was say "We're sorry, we didn't mean to do that", and most eat it up. So, tell me how the hand full has made any headway with this when things are worse than they ever have been and getting worse as time moves on?

It is truly unfortunate this is the stage we're at, but I have an odd feeling the ones consistent with the history of this game have mostly stopped playing. Unless you've been keeping tabs on behind the scenes since 2014, I don't think many people on the fence are aware of just what kind of issues have been present since said time, and the past has been buried with sunsetting in d2's case. I would say that the headway we have made is proportionally greater per person than the flip floppers - but obviously not much of us are left. It doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things, but in a vacuum it does. The forums do provide a slightly filtered viewpoint in our favor - people who genuinely want this game to be its best I would hope are more active on forums like any fan would be.

How is he a tool? Genuine question
-
It was more hyperbole, but he fits into that group of "news youtubers" that do those stupid 10 minute videos for things that the communities of said games are already well aware of. It's very surface level and doesn't really touch upon the more intricate matters behind the scenes, and if you know anything about the history of Destiny, there's a lot of it. BDobbinsFTW, for example, is a YouTuber that does basically the polar ossosite of that, and he made several destiny centric videos on cut content around the time.

Muta has been around for ten years.

I'm aware, It doesn't make his content any more in depth though.
