Banned for friends mistake
I was playing a private match yesterday with my friend and he started running an aimbot but I did not know he told me after. After about 5 minutes we were both weasled and had our accounts banned. I didn't do anything nor did I know he was running anything until after the ban. I don't cheat or use anything malicous but yet I was still banned. I don't know if theres a way I can get unbanned or retrieve my account. please I didn't do anything wrong or even know he was running something.

19 RepliesUnfortunately for you, there is nothing to be done. I suggest having a chat with your friend about not using cheats in online games in the future. At the very least, they should have told you ahead of time, so you could not partake. Pretty crappy of them to just play in a session and not tell you, since it is widely known Bungie will ban those that are in a premade lobby with cheaters.
