You know some movie producers will use cut scenes(as in removed) in their trailers, right?

But at least the movie is still good without them. If your going to show off something then get rid of it you better make the new change even better

While it's not always true that movies are still good despite any changes, I see your point. I feel that whether or not Destiny is better/worse because of this is closer to personal opinion than fact though. I mean, they might've had to ditch these to finish the raid in time or something, who knows?

Aaand another person who's missing the point of the post. Try reading the whole thing. If you still don't understand what this is about, I can't help you.

Well yeah, I understand what you meant(at least I hope so :/) I just meant to say that it's a common practice these days. I mean, this isn't even the first time Bungie has done it, if you look back to their pre-release media alot of things are "missing". Sorry if I failed to communicate this properly in my original post :P (I agree with the whole Armory thing being a bit suspicious though)
-
You're not wrong; it does seem to be common practice, these days. That doesn't make it right, though, especially when Bungie just recently made remarks about 'being more transparent, going forward'.

Edited by Sbuper: 4/14/2016 4:27:56 PMYeah, I suppose that's a fair point. I personally viewed the whole debacle more as an honest mistake of poor resource management rather than an intentional marketing ploy, but I can see how their silence about the matter could easily arise suspicious. I never really believed the whole "more transparent" thing though so I guess that's why my expectations weren't high enough for me to be very disappointed :\
