You know some movie producers will use cut scenes(as in removed) in their trailers, right?

  • But at least the movie is still good without them. If your going to show off something then get rid of it you better make the new change even better

  • While it's not always true that movies are still good despite any changes, I see your point. I feel that whether or not Destiny is better/worse because of this is closer to personal opinion than fact though. I mean, they might've had to ditch these to finish the raid in time or something, who knows?

  • Aaand another person who's missing the point of the post. Try reading the whole thing. If you still don't understand what this is about, I can't help you.

  • Well yeah, I understand what you meant(at least I hope so :/) I just meant to say that it's a common practice these days. I mean, this isn't even the first time Bungie has done it, if you look back to their pre-release media alot of things are "missing". Sorry if I failed to communicate this properly in my original post :P (I agree with the whole Armory thing being a bit suspicious though)

  • You're not wrong; it does seem to be common practice, these days. That doesn't make it right, though, especially when Bungie just recently made remarks about 'being more transparent, going forward'.

Yeah, I suppose that's a fair point. I personally viewed the whole debacle more as an honest mistake of poor resource management rather than an intentional marketing ploy, but I can see how their silence about the matter could easily arise suspicious. I never really believed the whole "more transparent" thing though so I guess that's why my expectations weren't high enough for me to be very disappointed :\
