Well I only boot if your dumbass joins me without permission. There is a message system on consoles for a damn reason. Annoying as hell.

The option of setting your fireteam preferences to Invite Only exists.

if u dont want anyone joining n u dont want to close ur fireteam best of deleting everyone off ur friends list
-
If you dont want to join anybody just set the fireteam to invite only. Its not that hard.

Edited by Surma51: 1/28/2015 1:26:54 PMDeal is I don't need to do that. Called being respectful, not some Dbag who just hops in that you never play with the guy hardly. This event is ever worse when you have 5 players and waiting on you 6th to join just to have some jackass join over and over again asking if your doing raid. Its called send a damn message and don't waste people's time like that.

I do get the respectful aspect of this but like I said, it takes ages to send a message and get a reply. Seriously, you'd be better off using the fireteam status, especially for you example. If you're waiting for a 6th guy to join, just set the fireteam to "invite only" and send an invite to that guy. How hard is that?

Yeah, with that crappy PSN messaging system, 3 minutes to send a message and another 3 to get the reply. I'd rather join and get kicked out. Happened to me in the past, you don't want me to join, fair enough, I'll remove you from my friends. Yes there is a messaging system but it's crap. There's also a fireteam status and it's here for a damn reason (where you can choose from Public, Friends Only, Invite Only and Closed) and it works much better than the PSN messaging system.

Block people from joining if you care that much. Anyone on this forum can join my game, more easy loot is never a bad thing.
