The elitists will say you are, but their opinion is about as worthwhile as the crap I took last night. Been playing since day one and I've only done a single raid. I don't have enough friends who play destiny and I don't really feel like finding people I don't know. My warlock is probably the highest he will be until the non raid level cap moves again.
