is it bad if you're a 31 and not a Christmas noob?
I'm still 31 and I got the game a few weeks after release- am I bad?

Not at all. Maybe because I am a 31 and and have had it since day 1 I say this.

No. Got it on release and my main is still missing one piece to get to 32 meanwhile my alt already has all the gear necessary, but i don't want to use all my shards on him as i'm playing him far less than my main -.- meanwhile a guy in my regular group (luckiest destiny player i've met!) has full raid gear on BOTH his characters and hasn't done the raid more than me, possibly even 1-2 times less - this might even be why i'll be quitting soon as he has half my playtime at max, it's just pissing me off more and more (i know that's how RN-blam!-INGG works it still makes me mad) So no, it's not bad if you and me are still 31, there's nothing we can do about bad luck and worse drops.

Nothing like that is "bad" in a video game. Just put a helmet on and prepare for 32 elitist shit to rain on you once in a while. They tend to think becuase they found a [b][i]lucky[/i][/b] pennie that they are better then level 31...

No people here try to make others feel bad about not being able to raid but some of us have lives and jobs and wives to take care of

Since you can't really control what gear or materials you get from raids the answer is no you're not bad. The only reason I can be 32 atm is because I got lucky in my like 3 Crota's End attempts and got the chest + boots. IB sold gloves and I have a 2.0 Exotic helm. All I need is radiant materials and I'm 32 despite having only "beaten" Crota once and the group cheesed the entire raid since we only had 4 people most of the time. Also you could've not bought the dlc and be "stuck". There's no real reason to be 32 outside of raids anyways . . . . .

This game is entirely on RNJesus. It just means you have had to work on your stuff more then others who get it blindly into their lap

You're not bad at all amigo. I'm still working my way there myself. Gotta max Helm of Saint-14 and I'll finally be there. If you're Raiding a ton, and still don't have the gear, then you're not bad, you're in the same boat as me: really unlucky.

I've had it since October and didn't hit 31 until recently. I didn't play Destiny at all for a while after the release of Dragon Age Inquisition.

This game isn't about being good, it's about putting in a lot of time and being lucky with drops. If the raid gear doesn't drop, what can you do?

No...the game is RNG based. Plus if you have a family, job, school, etc that'll eat into your gaming time.

No. Ive had it since october. Life gets in the way. Im married and work full time, on top of that, having a long commute to work really limits the amount of time i have to raid. Theres nothing wrong with it. There are also some people who have raided every week and still havent gotten all the drops yet to raid. The only way your bad at this game is if you try and dictate how other people do things.

I'm the same. Don't consider myself bad, just more interested in pvp than raids. And it's not the raids themselves, it's the NAT on my router and the angry yelling people when I have tried one.

Edited by monkyken: 1/22/2015 2:07:22 PMIm 31 and got it just after release also, depends how much free time you have to play, if your able to do the raid weekly, if you have gotten all the raid armour you need and then enough shards to upgrade all that armour. I have a lot of priority's outside of this game that are a lot more important to me this is just the cheap casual bit of fun to have a laugh with some other people.

Not bad, just probably playing dragon age and far cry (evolve coming) I would rather play those and wait until the house of wolves dlc and be 33 without the grind and still enjoy these better games

Played in beta, been here since day 1 all my characters still 30. I put Destiny in a long hiatus and picked it up again shortly before Christmas. I also don't have great luck with RNG. :/

Don't worry house of wolf is coming out and sooner or later you will hear alllllll of the player that hit 32 bitch because of vanguard gear making lvl 32 gear useless lmfao. I do agree with many player on here about the perks on raid gear they suck and are useless (my opinion of course)

Im beta player, playing regularly since day 1. Still level 31. Dw, RNG screws everyone over at least once (emphasis on AT LEAST. gotten nothing but crappy legendaries x3 for 5 weeks now)

No you're not bad I'm one of the first in destiny and all my guardians are 31 while my titan and warlock have almost all crota armor short of the helmet, they have crap perks and skills much to my bad luck.
