Bungie, please put a focus on PVP balancing. The lobby balancing is ridiculous.
I agree with this portion of your post. Lobby balancing still leaves something to be desired, but there are so few players.
Make it Skilled Based Matchmaking. Let the PVP specialists all go against one another and leave the lower skilled players to have room to improve. You have these "try-hards" or "sweats" that go into regular queues and just clean up. How is that providing a good experience for the other player.
Why is it so clear to you that you don't want these people potentially populating your space but you want them to only play with each other as their entire experience?
I know I will get a lot of negative comments for this but honestly, I've been playing this game for almost 10 years and each year it gets worst.
Don't just focus on a new map or nerfing some gun. Really work on balancing this game out. Bring back your security team.
That's been the focus for nearly a decade. We do need new maps. Guns need to be continually adjusted to make an environment of rock, paper, scissors. This game can't be balanced with random rolls and subclass builds.
But I agree, the security team needs to be here in full force.
But if you don't give yourself high speed internet, a monitor, and a controller with paddles, you aren't equipped to give yourself the best possible chance in these environments anyway.
All the extreme segregation that happened thrusted us into a much worse state than what was happening before. Curated games to control win rate. Massive Lag. Changes to AE and Stability/flinch only to be all but reversed influenced the current state of things.
These systems, how ever necessary in the eyes of some, needed better implementation or shouldn't have ever existed at all.

Only entitled twerps think sbmm is bad. You're all scared to play in your own bracket. You're like a high school basketball player who only wants to compete against elementary school kids because it makes you feel good. Then if you accidentally get put up against a pro you cry like a baby.

Edited by Nimune: 1/12/2024 11:49:00 PMYou have 300 hrs in this game and last time you played pvp was february 2023. That is almost 1 year ago. Why are you even participating in this? You literally have no clue how things are and how things have been at their best, and how things should be.

Entitled would be assuming the game should be segregated to create safe spaces away from any potential competition. Entitled would be assuming you shouldn't have to change or grow and that everything else should be altered to coddle you as you are. The whole entire game. To help make you find success just as you are. Without expectation of adaptation, growth, change. How do you even sound? This isn't little league. This isn't HS basketball. There should be some balancing. SBMM as it's been executed ain't it. And your analogy is a false equivalency. You have the same resources and opportunity. It's not about your physicality and you're learning in the same exact environment as everyone else. You personally don't even test yourself in competitive modes, so I'm not sure why you're speaking to me in this way. Who is scared?
