That weasel error was from someone else logging into your account…so it kicked you out. Then, they were able to delete the character before you got back in.
Time to change all your linked accounts passwords & the 2fa involved with them.

The delete character screen shows up for a couple of frames in the video. It obviously wasn't someone else. Normally to delete a character you hold F for 7 seconds, then confirm by pressing enter. The hold F screen was bypassed. He selected his character (Warlock). Then the delete message popped up so fast that you can't see it without slowing the video down. It wasn't someone else. It was bugged. Clearly. No one should have their character deleted by pressing enter.

Oh well. Shouldn’t just press buttons without waiting for on-screen messages to show fully.

What a great excuse... Sure why would someone press enter when logging in... So irresponsible. These forums are the worst. No wonder Bungie doesn't read them.

Watch the video at full speed. The pop up is only for about 2 frames. You actually need to slow the speed down to actually see it. How does this excuse the fact that normally you are supposed to hold F for 7 seconds while a bar ticks up BEFORE SELECTING YOUR CHARACTER. Then you confirm that you actually want to delete the character. He had ALREADY SELECTED his character and shouldn't have even have been able to delete. The whole thing is royally screwed up and bugged (like everything).

It looks exactly the same as what I deal with multiple times per gaming session. This could have easily happened to me. Multiple people have reported characters getting deleted with a similar description of events. But now your excuse is that he quickly whipped up an edited video. Sigh...

And Bungie said last reports of deleted characters were not caused by their systems. Just giving my opinion on this situation since several things aren’t acting in a normal manner.

Yea because Bungie is always so straight forward and honest with their player base. If you knew people spent the time and money they have and your system caused a character to be lost and you couldn’t fix it you’d claim it wasn’t your system also. The video isn’t edited anyone that has any experience making or editing videos would know. Weasel does not happen only when someone logs into your account (you’re ignorant if you believe that), also to say he shouldn’t just press the enter button like are you for real? There’s a whole delete character process it shouldn’t have even shown that message or deleted anything without that process. This would be 100% Bungie’s problem.

I NEVER said weasel was ONLY given when someone else logs into the same account. So stop putting words in my mouth that I never said. Regardless, it seems yall are more interested in this than OP is. It’s his battle to fight, not yours.
