I really want to see how this pans out. Like I get what happened, and the players cannot control when Bungie's servers are acting up with rampant error codes causing safety nets to not work as intended, but in no way should that be the player's fault. My stance is bungie is at fault: -Being error coded while contacting servers -The Delete Character function actually not working as intended -Bungie not having a complex and secure delete a character option or simple having the ability to LOCK your character from Bungie.net Lastly, this deleting a character problem has become more prevalent and visible now where is involves being spammed by error codes and contacting servers that Bungie really needs to just make it harder to accidentally delete a character by any means. So that it will only ever be the player's fault. My suggestion, make the player type/enter in a set of letters and numbers to confirm Character Deletion.

You can barely see it right here. I had to slow it waaaay down to catch the delete character dialog. This is 100% Bungie’s fault. IF there weren’t constant error messages that interfere with the dialog boxes, and at least a more efficient method to protect the player from accidentally deleting characters, this wouldn’t happen. Hope you get them back, but I doubt it’ll happen. Here’s the screenshot….like I said barely visible because of how quick it popped up.

That delete character popup on 0:54... Damn, let's hope support will recover your warlock. To all those who say "he got weasel, so someone else logged in and deleted", bruh, Octo selected Warlock and loaded as Titan. 🤣 This happened before weasel error and is clearly visible without any video slowdown.
