Cannot say, I'm running an AMD5800x 32GB DDR4 and RTX3080 and I can run it on full details stable @ 165FPS (my monitor refresh rate), so I'm happy with it in either way :)

Mind taking the time to share your nvidia 3D settings for the game and your in game settings? Only time I get close to stable 165 on 2k is on some crucible maps.

Edited by Agent Smith: 12/1/2022 11:56:53 PMBasically I'm only using the latest nvidia drivers 526.98 (or one of the latest, no idea if there's been a newer version added recently), standard driver settings, the CPU is paired with a Strix X570 Mobo and I have a OC3 profile enabled in BIOS, ram is DDR4 3600Mhz. The GPU is the Gigabyte 3080 Vision OC. I do keep the card cool, using lots of fans in my case (NR200P but I have like 10+ fans in there), @1950Mhz stable with undervolt I'm getting 300W consumption, around 61c both on CPU and GPU, also the VRAM thermal pads on my 3080 have been completely replaced by top pads, reducing my full load VRAM temps to aroun 85-max90c, while with the stock pads, those VRAMs are overcooking at 110 degrees celsius and above. Perhaps the latter is one of the reasons, but can't be too sure. It just works for me. As for ingame settings, I'm running @2k with all details on max, 3d AO, max AA, AF, the only thing I disabled is film grain and that weird monochromatic color or something + obviously I disabled motion blur. Everything else is maxed, 105 FOV, 100 resolution scaling. I do not enable vsync ever though. Vsync can be a big stuttering factor in some games and out of precaution I just leave it off. FPS limiter is a much better option for limiting FPS at your max refresh rate, then use Freesync/Gsync to sync those frames and refresh rates up.
