I took a bit over a year off of D2 came back with season of arrivals and it hooked me again It is one of the better looter shooters out there. Must admit the break helped a lot as prior to it I felt burnt out by the game. I was reluctant to try Gambit before but have been enjoying that as well as reckoning quests tied to them forcing me out of my comfort zone. And pvp what kept me going last time for so long thought I would return horribly but although skills have slipped I'm still killing more than dying which is a start. Sad to hear the sunsetting news but hey it will help my vault hoarding issues at least. Looking forward to beyond light must admit.

  • I find that if I just play one game nonstop that I will burn out on it. Its healthy for your enjoyment of a game if you branch out and play some other games and then come back to destiny 2. Glad that not all the replies to this post are not overly negative. There is a reason people say "avoid the forums " but at least some light still exists here.

  • Yeah I play a handful of other games on and off. Monster Hunter World and Diablo 3 with my 11yo Division 2 and Breakpoint solo but burnt out on both of those at the moment. Fired up Destiny with the new season it has improved a great deal the seasons now have purpose I feel. Kind of spewing I missed a few with the season specific exotics. And yes forums can be negative been here on and off too but I just ignore the over the top negativity as best I can, but I understand the sunsetting stance from both sides I will miss gear/builds myself but also look forward to what new builds and gear will be possible. Bungie had to do it anyway can't keep making weapons out perform old ones pvp would become a joke and pve content way too easy. There's quite a few build that make the game a cakewalk outside of mechanics.

  • I think...I have about 200 items in my vault. The original white gear, a mask, armour that’s useless now but looks cool, a few favourites in terms of weapons. I wouldn’t know a god roll if it shot me...oh wait a minute...

  • Yeah mines almost always maxed out I have to go in and dismantle a bunch every reset to make room for the weeks new rewards have dupes of most exotics too (alowing for each character for weapons) And different builds for the armors.
