Meta is just a excuse to use what everyone else tells you to use.
We are all different with different play styles.
Use what works for you not what works for the other guy.

😂🤣😂 for one your so wrong is laughable and YouTube streamers like Frostbolt have shown how much more op 120 hc’s are by demonstrating how large the hitbox for crits are. So your dead wrong on meta . Secondly looks like you haven’t played zip in a couple seasons so I don’t know why your commenting on things you clearly don’t understand.

Than try running something other than last word and shotgun or anything other than hc/shotgun if you think that’s the case. Your gonna find out real fast that hc are far more powerful than any other gun in the game.

One of the objectives for the IB quest is to get 20 hand canon kills….. As for the shotgun, go ahead and look up how many shotgun kills i actually have in crucible then come back and run your mouth.

I would agree with you, my friend. However, considering how op 120's and shotguns are, there's simply no room to use what works for me, because what works for me will not work against op HCs and shotguns.

Shotguns are easy. We learned in D1 (when in the special slot you only had shotgun or sniper option) how to combat them. In fact my kids hate the fact that every time they ask for help with the grind that weapons "not in the meta" turn up in their invitory. I use scouts and snipers. Yes I do use handcannons as well but default to a scout. Play how you want. Use what feels right to you.

I used to play Void Warlock and my ARs felt good. Nowadays ARs feel like throwing kisses at enemies instead of bullets 🤣. It doesn't matter the distance, in 1x1 your AR will always be outgunned by a HC. I also never used shotguns in D1, instead I used sidearms in my special slot for close combat.
