And yet it's usually liberals pushing for campaign finance reform....
🤔🤔🤔
You seem to confuse Democrats with liberals often.
And yet it's usually liberals pushing for campaign finance reform.... 🤔🤔🤔 You seem to confuse Democrats with liberals often.
Sure, leftists would love to see campaign finance reform. As long as it benefits them. I'll stop using "liberal" and "democrat" interchangeably when "classical liberalism" becomes relevant again and the party itself stops using them interchangeably.

Edited by Catty_Wampus22: 8/27/2019 8:17:37 PMCool, so when will Republicans start being conservative again? Because last I checked they added $4.1 Trillion to the national debt in 2 years...... Edited by Catty_Wampus22: 8/27/2019 8:25:30 PMSo Republicans are willing to shut down the government over the ACA and border wall funding but are everso helpless when it comes to wasting money that those mean ol Democrats force them into? That's a weak argument. And stop trying to get me to stick up for the Democrats. Both are selling us out. Democrats are not liberals, they are more Diet Republicans. Just like most Republicans aren't really conservatives. Both are really just corporate -blam!-.

Democrats would dig in and shut down the government.
I'll be serious for a moment. I'm more or less shitposting but, government spending is my biggest problem with Republicans. They were so happy to cry about it when obama was a thing and will probably go right back to suddenly caring when/if a the next democrat gets elected. And as much as it pisses me off, what am I supposed to do? Vote Democrat so we can pile "Medicare for all", the "green new deal" and lord knows whatever multi trillion dollar program on top of this mess? We're -blam!-ed man.
Support a third party. Only 55.5-58% of eligible voters voted last time. Nearly half the eligible population didn't feel like supporting the two party system. If all the people that said they're gonna wait until 3rd parties have more support supported them now they'd have a decent shot. This 'what am I gonna a do, let the other side win!?' Is how they keep their scam going. I've never voted for a Democrat or a Republican to be president and when one side loses and tries to shame me saying it's my fault we have Trump or Bush or whomever I say bullshit! Unless you can prove to me they won by a single vote in my state you are full of shit. And I hear it all the time in liberal groups on Facebook and to that I say the DNC/RNC isn't entitled to my vote just because they aren't the other party. If you want me to vote for your party give me someone I can support. Until don't blame me because your candidate can't get support from more than ~1/4 of country.

Until don't blame me because your candidate can't get support from more than ~1/4 of country.
See, I dont disagree with you in spirit. But with the "first past the post" voting system we have now the two party system is a mathematical inevitability and if anything, third party candidates (green, libertarian for example) are just spoilers. Enough people vote libertarian and the republican is more likely to lose to the Democrat, whom they will presumably dislike even more. Enough people vote green party and the democrat is more likely to lose to the republican, whom they will presumably dislike even more. https://youtu.be/s7tWHJfhiyo https://youtu.be/3Y3jE3B8HsE And no those arent Breitbart or something. They explain why the two party system is inevitable and the voting system that would have to replace it for that to change.
