Game is doing fine.
I just got Sleeper Simulant the other weekend. That last part is a 1-time match made mission. I found a fireteam with hardly any search time and we all three started at the beginning.
That is proof that this game is healthy. If you deny then you're an ostrich.

Luck could have something to do with it. Lord knows RNG is everywhere in Destiny. But I had a similar experience with my exotic sword and chaperone quests. If it's that easy to find one-time end-game matches, that tells us something. I really do truly believe the "dying/dead" threads are hyperbole at their most childish.
