Your wish can be had with a simple movement of the date on your PS.

Ok, so let's say today is 4/20 (YAY! 🤣) because it is. Move your date to something like 6/20/2023 or 4/20/2026. It used to be that moving the date backwards worked. That went away and now it has to be moved forward. I use the date change on the PS on a regular basis The entire last season I rarely had my date correct. Look through some of the Strike history on the account named Manslave2Eris (the account I actually still play on) and look at how many of those Strikes only have me in them. Any activity that does not involve opposing players (Gambit and Crucible are out) can be run solo no matter if it has forced matchmaking in it or not. Most of the time I fire up the game, change the date, get on Destiny Item Manager and swap out/rearrange gear for whatever activities I want to run then make a quick run to the tower to make sure no other players show up then I fire up whatever activity it is that I'm wanting to do. The run to the tower is simply out of habit from a few times I had issues with it in D1. Basically I just like to give it a couple/few minutes with the date changed just to make sure it takes effect. The only times it has ever failed for me was back in D1 when I would change the date and immediately fire up a strike or join up on another player to run stuff with just the two of us. You join them, the game makes that person the host and the game goes by the date on their console. The only other issue I've had was when the software change happened that caused the need to run the date forward instead of backwards. Basically it would fail if I did something incorrect.

Edited by Kouz_MC: 4/20/2023 6:56:51 AMOk thanks for the explanation! I tried to move the date into the future a few times, waited for the clock/sync to adjust. Loaded into an activity that is not matchmade, it works, however after a few minutes the game/console crash. I haven’t tried in a long time, assuming it was not efficient anymore. I will give it a try again. Tbh I want to use it exclusively for leveling up weapons in the sorrrow’s harbor. Shuro Chi feels too depressing after a while. Thanks again!

Absolutely not a problem, hopefully it goes well for you. You bringing it up did remind me that I was having the same issue with the game crashing for quite a while. Sometimes I would go 3 or 4 minutes and other times I would go an hour or so. That issue seems to have gone away in one of the updates. I honestly had forgotten about that or I most definitely would have mentioned it. Good luck and hopefully it all works out.
