Why did you have to nerf the overload farm. Was it really doing that much harm? How dare we earn extra neomuna reputation and an extra chance at a neomuna gun for 15 minutes of invested game time. C'mon man.
Watch this activity get abandoned once everyone realizes that this pain in the -blam!- activity just isn't worth the time anymore. You think it's fun for us to throw ourselves into that grinder cause it's not. The appeal was gone after the first 3 runs. Getting nuked by threshers and overrun by wyverns and fanatics isn't fun. The farm was the only thing that mad that activity stomachable.
You know why people keep slaying out in sorrows Harbor? Because it makes them feel like predators instead of prey.

2 RepliesThe most exciting thing coming out of this half/assed "expansion" was the damn sparrow race against time for some extra shards. Way to go Bungo! 😜
-
1 ReplyIt’s crazy how stingy Bungie is with loot.
-
Cool, so no incentive to ever do it again. Probably won’t do partition again either unless they reduce the TO completions to 1 to do it
-
Gotta keep the crack addicts busy.
-
A harmless exploit like this is the reason why a lot of us play this game bungie are rarely in touch with the destiny community
-
6 RepliesI have got 🍿 to see what the apologists and defenders have to say. I bet it will start with a "git gud." it's not too hard, "lfg for a team," "it's a you problem" or something more altruistic like a "we deliver quality content" Let the games begin 🤣
-
1 ReplyI just load into the activity until I see a group on the last part.
-
11 RepliesAnything that benefits the players gets fixed immediately.
-
1 ReplyThe devs will sprint faster than Usain Bolt to fix an exploit that favors players but leave bugs unfixed for months on end.
-
It fits the psychological profile of "The Team". Everything they do is designed to make playing miserable. Any time fun accidentally gets into the game they rush over and stomp it out. They act like the armor and weapons are actually real and that if we get them to easily, in their opinion, it's as if we stole them from Bungle. Sony should have booted them to the curb.

This game is in the bogs.
-
22 RepliesThey just completely killed the activity. Was a great way to level weapons too. No one wants to do Shuro Chi for 3 hours.
-
1 Replyi mean they did not patch it since lightfall release. Bungie gave us enough time to exploit it tbf
-
They nerfed the wolf chests also I remember the legendary time I 4 dipped 1 chest
-
They did this back in D1... We all remember those days.
-
It was especially useful for leveling weapons. Every chest gave you 30% of a level for each weapon equipped. I have no further use for the activity now.
-
I only continued playing overloads because I could level up weapons quicker with the bug.Really no point to run it any more as takes far too long for the rewards you get
-
Edited by AlteraLateralus: 4/20/2023 7:33:04 PMSame thing happened during D1 Y1 for the House of Wolves chest farm, and they nerfed it then too. Unfortunately it is technically a glitch/oversight, so I understand why they're doing it. They should provide us with more/ more consistent farm methods.

1 ReplyYou honestly thought they would leave it? Maybe some weren't around when Menagerie was here but TO will now basically die the same death that mode did when they finally patched it -- even though Menagerie was stilled played but just not to the level it was when you could dip 5 chests. I remember that one took over a month to figure out too. Glad I got a few of the very average weapons rolled well but Neomuna is basically dead now. It's funny because Reddit was singing Neo's praise of 'that's how Bungie should do destinations' but there is literally no reason to do anything on that destination now once you are leveled and have the title which is not hard to get given the glitched Master mission can easily be done by anyone currently. Destinations still suck for replay-ability.

Edited by Corrick II: 4/20/2023 4:00:32 PMSame thing happened with the Menagerie. Sure it sucks, but it certainly wasn't unexpected. Bungie doesn't like free gifts, you gotta grind your life away for it. Keeps you playing longer.
-
We need to make up some event that can be exploited and see if Bungie will believe it and go to fix an imaginary issue
-
8 RepliesEdited by Shadow: 4/20/2023 10:02:27 AMRip that and duality first boss cheese. Last time it was around I helped a bunch of first timers who never touched that dungeon get a full set. Was actually looking forward to helping ppl again….They couldn’t look away 1 more rotation?

9 RepliesEdited by Kouz_MC: 4/19/2023 8:52:29 PMThis activity has been abandoned since several weeks already. Neptune is the deadest destination of them all. By far. PS: I wish sorrow’s harbor was just as empty as the terminal overload when I land!
-
No one remembers farming public events early d2? Just respawning and hitting the box? Got patched also. We saw this coming if you’ve been playing, come on.
-
Off topic but I also really liked Nightmare Containment. Good ad density, easy mechanics, and good bosses. Plus good rewards too. Wish they’d do more events like that really. Or better yet BRING BACK UN-NERFED MENAGERIE

4 RepliesI wonder what happened to the "no more stealth nerfs/changes" Bungie. That lasted two whole weeks.
