It's an activity that requires some coordination. It's not raid lvl but I've done a nightfall with someone without a mic and it was awful. I sincerely wanted to kick them because they didn't listen to anything me and my friend said. And those are the situations that would be common leading to a lot of people dropping out of the strikes. They could give us the option but it would awful. Not to mention how would the modifier cards work with matchmaking? You would still have to find a team for beyond 100k
