Petition to give Nightfall strikes Optional matchmaking
This would make my life SO MUCH EASIER and give me the incentive to actually play nightfall.

They assume that you play with groups. Unfortunately, all but a few of my friends gave up on this franchise a long time ago. I don't game with people I don't know, so the LFG crap doesn't work for me. Hard to get 3 for a NF, let alone 6 for a raid. Many hundreds of hours into this game and I have yet to play a raid. Oh well. My fault for playing.

Guided games? And also people ask for matchmaking in forge. Know what happens? Everyone complains about matchmaking.

Why do you need other people for a nightfall get a five of swords put on heavyweight and solar singe and use sleeper to solo it in twenty mins

Make nightfalls more difficult, make them worth playing more than once a week, and then make them a heroic tier before you added matchmaking.

That's true. What I was talking about were the strike based challenges/bounties we have to do. Instead of doing strikes where you have 2 other people taking kills, I use NF as it's much easier/faster. Not sure how many people know this can be done.

3 RepliesRight but you can't have nightfall matchmaking because you have no idea how the other players 5 of swords card is setup or who's 5 of swords would even be active this would affect score buffs and debuffs it simply doesnt work

They’d have to revert it to the launch version with a set modifier list for that to happen. I very much doubt a return to D2 Y1 would happen for that

It will be very entertaining reading when everyone starts complaining about getting afk players and trolls who screw up on purpose just for the simple sake of doing so. Final Fantasy XIV didn't have matchmaking in their 8 player raids at 1st. You had to be a preformed group at least until the next one came out. Then, the previous one would be matchmaking and the new one would be preformed. Now, the normal is matchmaking and the newest savage mode isn't and the amount of trolls that are in them is just unreal. I personally don't get what the hug deal is about not having matchmaking. If you can come in the forum and complain, then you can come in the forum and use the fireteam finder and get a group. Consoles have it easy, you can invite with the app now, PC actually has to use some effort and manually invite even using the fireteam finder. This isn't a "pc master race" jab either, I play on both ps4 and pc.

4 RepliesWe've all been asking for OPTIONAL matchmaking for the NF for years. They're deaf to it anymore. I'd also like to see OPTIONAL matchmaking for all game modes. Who cares about the bitching that would ensue, people do that already anyway.

I don't see an issue with optional NF matchmaking. I'm not going to use it, it wouldn't change my game experience at all. Add it for those that want it.

20 RepliesThe sad truth is bungie is catering to the ego maniacs out there who are so pleased that they have nightfall and raid teams, they don't want others to enjoy it unless people go through all the nonsense they had to. It's all ego, no two ways about it.

Ummm, these idiots at Bungie have been asked for this since Destiny 1. Since this developer does not listen to their fan base ever, the chances of this being done is ZERO!
