Before you complain about the problem. Think of a solution...
Before you complain about the problem. Think of a solution...
Solution = autobans. You lag too much? Banned for the day. You banned too many times in one week? Banned for the week. You banned two weeks in a row? Banned for the month. You banned more than 3 months in one year? Banned for the year.

So the next time your the odd one out on a fireteam and have a red bar, we can expect a rant. No thanks, bad idea.
So the next time your the odd one out on a fireteam and have a red bar, we can expect a rant. No thanks, bad idea.
If I'm red barring, I shouldn't be playing. Don't buy online games if you have bad internet. Get a job, pay the higher price. Period.

You must be very young and really don't understand money lol
You must be very young and really don't understand money lol
Define "very young", in terms of the demographics of the variety of Destiny players... I'm just curious.
-
It does not matter how fast your Internet is. How are people still not understanding this.... You can play Destiny on a 256k connection.
-
Lol thats empirically not true. The only people that say Internet speed don't matter, are the same that say size dont matter lol. *now he gonna reply with how he got 100gb/ms down AND up*
-
My connection is about 2.5 m/bit down and 0.5 m/bit up. My connection is fine most of the time, except for in off peak Aussie times, when match made activities attract people from the other side of the planet. There's no one that won't cop lag from that. No one.

-
You could be on a T/bit connection and still get red bar. It's not how much data that can be sent/ received, it's the distance the packet must travel, the hops it must make, the line quality, your ISP, etc, etc. If there is 1 person that happens to be on the other side of the planet, it'll bring lag. Matchmaking is a blessing and a curse under different conditions.

So what your saying is that if someone who is generally not doing. Anything bad but is just haveing a bad internet connection they would get banned for a year
and before you say they need to get a better system what about if they can't get a better one
Play a different game.

If you reread what I said, that would require them to be a known flagged problem by the system as a person who keeps lagging every day of every week of every month. So yes, they need a better connection and before you say "what if they can't", that's not my problem, and Bungie shouldn't make it my problem. I have no control over the quality of his internet. Why should I be punished for that?

Ok I see your point I am just the person that will try to see both sides when arguing
