The current report system has been next to worthless for the past couple years. They never had decided to care about the system due to its easy access and just completely uselessness overall. They need to update this system right now due to a moderate increase in connection manipulation in PVP.

2 RepliesI figured there'd be some salty players here, with tiny wieners, who wants to 1v1 me?

1 ReplyThe report system would be improved if players were forced to hang around long enough to BE reported in the first damn place. I lost count of how many teams (several obviously pros doing trials carries; hell, one even had their TV channel as their clan name) left the match after the win was recorded but before the reward screen and post-game report, so their names were gone without a trace. Simple solution: Even if you won, it doesn't count as a win until the final screen pops up. If you leave, you lost. Then those who cheated (and we had many this weekend whose bars alternated green to red, depending on whether we were shooting at them or not) have to stick around to get reported.

19 RepliesI report all trump supporters for inappropriate comments. Because chances are they are going to call you something for not having the same views as them. Yet They can never defend trump. Just start trashing Bill Clinton like he is the one running for president 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🇺🇸

1 ReplyThe problem with "improving" their report system is that if you do that it will just be abused. Kids would report just about everybody that upsets them. Get destroyed by somebody using an OP weapon, report them. Get outplayed, report them. Get destroyed by somebody using an annoying subclass, report them...etc etc. I have played with trials guys and they are constantly reporting player for a number of stupid things just because they got owned.

2 RepliesIt would nice to be updated with results of reports. At least it would feel as if they're doing something.

10 RepliesIt is hard to distinguish the difference between a lag switcher and someone who just doesn't have the best internet. Bungie does make an effort to remove the worst ones when it counts. I have played in alot of games of Trials where the third person on the other team gets kicked for their red bar. Most likely because they lagged terribly the game before as well. But to bring bans for reports, would be a shitty idea...and let me explain easily with an example that we can all relate to. Tea baggers, aka the immature douchebags of the Destiny world. If they teabag when they win...what do they do when they lose? What if all three of them, or all six of them, report one person for latency just because he kicked their asses and his bar went red for a minute or two due to logical reasons aside from cheating... i.e dudes from Zimbabwe on the server or his whole family streaming netflix in three other rooms. It would suck to be that person who falls victim to that and gets banned all day on their day off from work or school. And for anyone who uses the reason, well just get better internet or don't play. Not everyone has that luxury. I pay for 90mbs because I can do that, but a fifteen year old at his moms can't usually just say "hey ma, we need better internet because the salty ass destiny community is salty again." We just gotta deal with it. Destiny is no where near as laggy as some of the other Tier 1 shooters out there. And the laggers aren't gonna go anywhere anytime soon...so that leaves two options. Stay outta the crucible, or quit bitching.

I get better results reporting through xbox.

And it'll be just as bad in D2.

Bungie: So we should nerf fusion rifles?

4 RepliesEdited by BostonWins: 10/9/2016 1:46:05 PMAka. Destiny is the worst pvp game on any platform currently. If it wasn't for the gear many ppl would never pick it up.

Daily bump

Lol, I'm sure they'll get right on that. You people are probably dumb enough to think Destiny 2 will be any better

"Bump Up So Bungie Can Improve Their Report System" Either Destiny's PvP, including the Iron Banner, is completely, absolutely and totally broken or 'cheating' is the way Bungie intended it to work....
-
4 RepliesI think the real problem is all the whiners making false reports or just assuming someone is cheating. Someone beating you is not cheating. Someone having a cheesy load out is not cheating. Even having a red bar is not cheating. I have many hours in this game and have yet to have played with anyone who has not been red bar at least once. Red bar does not necessarily mean you have slow internet and it most definitely does not instantly mean you're lag switching. It is merely a reflection of your connection to Bungies shitty servers. I think one of two things need to happen. First: people need to use the report function properly making it easier for bungie to weed out the cheaters. Second: Bungie could use some dedicated servers to help with this games horrible lag issues.
