Start running toward points of interest and advantageous positioning right away. A game can be determined right at the start because of this.
An example would be in control. Capping the spawn or start node is practically pointless while taking B(or the neutral zone/point) first can set the pace for the match. Same for trials, playing for better positioning out of the gate can set the tone for the entire match.

Gaining map control early is crucial! I would argue that capping B (or neutral point) fist is less important than getting the map position to secure it after wiping the team from B. Map position first, then zone is how I try to play the point. Also, if I see my entire team capping the home zone, I tend to know exactly how the game is going to play out most of the time... Against any decent team, they will be late to the power points on the map and get picked off one at a time, then they will try to flank solo to flip the spawns and split the spawn and get triple capped. Happens so often that its not even funny. Good openings shape the midgame, and if you waste moves on the opening, you are playing catch up the entire game. Similarly, especially in Solitude, getting control of the mid map (inside the building) when the zones are on that side of the map I feel is really important. Setting up shop outside looking in only helps when they are peeking out of the doors. In general my goal is to get into the building and setup so that they dont have a long range shot into the doorways, that they need to rush into the building in order to contest. Challenging the long sightlines on the doorways makes it a bit more difficult to get the res when a player goes down since the enemy can just hold that sightline and farm the res.

Same idea. Playing to protect the neutral zone as the stragglers move up and cap it is the same concept. Just cant make it to complicated for new players, PvE mains, and casuals. Just simple tips. Cant overwhelm their "jim" brains.

Just tell them to capture the plate they should know this from kings fall and Crota. Same mechanic but instead of thralls you have a guardian who may or may not be that much smarter lol

I wish it was that simple. Remember these are the guys that bathe in grenades & asked for neomuna patrols to be nerf'd.

lol that place was a let down imagine 40k warhammer action going on and instead I got of ghost town of spongie ads. I hate going there because of the 8ft weairdo there

True, but neomuna use to be a place that could kill a guardian. Then Bungie caved. Im glad they did not gut the neather like the casuals asked though.
