A. Remove mat caps from crafting
B. Perma unlock traits per weapon when purchased (so they are free next time you reshape).
C. If A and B are added, then everything else can be the same.
*D. Bonus: If you really care about our happiness: Every resonance completed this season on a weapon that doesn't have a pattern available yet, should count whenever that pattern is added down the road. Ex. Cantata.

3 RepliesEven the 3 exoitc glaives and the striga smg exotic just eat 4 more vault spaces since you cant just pull them from collections after unlocking, you would have to recraft them with an insane material grind attached. This dumb crafting system made the vault space situation worse if anything. And i slowly start to not care about this game anymore. Doesn't matter if you think we need more space or not. We objectively do need vault space because players who played since day 1 constanly have to delete memories they have worked for very hard. If Bungie can't make such a simple change which is a vault space increase, then they are the most incompetent dev out there. Atleast you non "hoarders" can agree with that i assume.

2 RepliesThe red weapons are a plague on the game.

I have played a lot of games in my life, but never experienced such a complete mess like Destiny 2 vault, like it has been designed and drawn by a four or five year old child! No i take that back, i four year old can do much better!

1 Replyorigin traits are always same, weapon level should be shared on weapons, call it proficiency and be accountt wide. caps just increase the m to 5000. double perks should be an option for extra glimmer

1 ReplyWhile I'm not for caps by any means (I don't think they actually serve much purpose in a game where players can't trade with each other and cause inflation/deflation) I'm kind of surprised people are really having this much issue with materials. I'm slowly building materials and am more at a point where i need to keep grinding to build out my arsenal as opposed to overflowing and not having anything to invest them in. I can see a situation where I've got everything crafted at the end of the season and have so much material that I can nearly craft all of the desirable weapons next season as soon as i have the patterns. My only real annoyance is that we don't permanently unlock perks on guns. Seems like a needless time sync. It would be cool if they were entirely unlockable and got like a sick black border or something stupid to say you did it. Add another meaningless chase.

A. Remove mat caps from crafting
There should be a cap but it could be increased at least a lil bit. And Resonant weapons should only level up and give you materials you don’t have. I also personally think deepsight should only be on weapons that can be crafted. They should be guaranteed deepsight and patterns should just have their amount increased.
B. Perma unlock traits per weapon when purchased (so they are free next time you reshape).
They shouldn’t be free next time. They should still cost. However the cost should be like 20 of weapon material and glimmer. Not the full price it was. (Especially if raid weapons continue to have their own alloy).
C. If A and B are added, then everything else can be the same.
Already gave my responses to A and B but C is fair. You’re supporting Bungie for weapon crafting so that’s a bump since a lot of people are overreacting.
*D. Bonus: If you really care about our happiness: Every resonance completed this season on a weapon that doesn't have a pattern available yet, should count whenever that pattern is added down the road. Ex. Cantata.
Agreed. This won’t happen but I agree. Which is why it should be specific to only craft able weapons in my opinion.

1 Replyshould just remove red weapons entirely or make them not drop once you have the pattern

Edited by TheValorous: 3/15/2022 1:07:51 PMSo, i was enlightened to my original argument against no cap for mats so the only thing is say is that, regarding unlocking patterns, the only patterns right now are related to the Throne world and the current season. Unless they add none Throne World/seasonal weapons to that crafting pool next season, I doubt we'll ever see them craftable. While I would love to craft every weapon in the game, I have a hard time imagining they'd drop the looting portion of their game.

Bump on all of this
