Let's finally accept that they are very different games with very different mechanics and barely fit in the same genre. I love both games for different reasons. Stop comparing them.

They can be compared, both are looter shooters are they not? Both are MMO lite games are they not? Both are RPGs are they not? The answer to all 3 are yes they are. Which means they both fall into the same genre. The setting is different and one is first person, they other is third person. They can be compared hence why every reviewer of the game and normal person who doesn't live under a rock can see that they fall into the same genre meaning comparisons can be made.

MMO lite. Both games are MMO lite, anyone who has played MMOs their whole life can say that, both have many elements of one, enough that both can just fall under the category.
