As we know the division launched a week ago and after playing it for around 50ish hours, So let's come up with a list of things the division has done and will do that destiny can learn and potentially grow off. I also understand to some the game sucks and all that neither can be compared but just remember that it's your opinion the game sucks and that is yours alone & not the overall consensus, also the games are both MMO lite looter shooter RPG games which have many of the same systems in place so in other words they can be compared.
(that and all reviews basically agree with this logic)
- No loading screens between missions & multiplayer, all seemless transitions.
- Matchmaking for every aspect of the game.
- Upcoming trading which is GOOD the way the division is implementing it, not like how borderlands handles it. Means that farming won't have you doing 100+ raids for a specific drop (Crux Of Crota For example).
- fast action with patches and fixes. If you haven't noticed when the devs drop the servers they can fix ingame bugs without us having to download patches for the game & with server resets that is the same thing. They have fixed a lot of issues since launch during the server downtime the other day and the sever reset like removing an OP perk where for destiny doing stuff like this takes months.. Bad Juju & Thorn fix took 6+ months to fix.
- Dedicated servers, need I say more?
- Improved loot system. The divisions loot is more rewarding and the drops happen much more frequently which should be how destiny is since it's a game that bassically relies on loot to survive and it can take a while to come by. People can go days without a purple item where in division I can farm them real fast & they all feel different stat and perk wise.
- Make how your character looks and gear seperate. Not all players look the same in the division which is good due to not everyone being restricted by how the look clothing wise by it being gear. Have your gear yes but how about having clothing being able to be attached to the gear and you can make your character how you want it to look like so we feel unique.
- Crafting. Crafting would be awesome in destiny! Getting blueprints for exotics then having to serch the solar system and doing unique quest to rebuild the weapon. By quest I mean story related quest like taking the lore behind the gun and turning that into a quest. Imagine if we got a quest to reforge the gjallahorn learning the lore and story behind the guns we reforge rather then just having them handed to us or grinding Mats/time gating it.
- finally, a room on your ship or in the tower for our guardian where in the room special activities/events that happen we get a memento in our place that we can look back at in a few years and be like 'awesome' like atheons head or crotas sword or oryxs shard he drops when we hurt him in regicide, kinda like the base of operations and building it up!
What about you community, rather then blatantly hating on the game give your ideas below!

5 RepliesYeah...yet Division has problems of its own.
-
8 RepliesLet's finally accept that they are very different games with very different mechanics and barely fit in the same genre. I love both games for different reasons. Stop comparing them.

2 RepliesThe Division Queue Simulator 2016 Game looks pretty boring to me. Played the beta and thought it was ok. Will wait a while and see if people stick it out and consider to buy or not .

1 ReplyWhat can you learn from the division? Like any other game: 1) you never satisfy EVERYONE, someone is always pissed 2) there will always be cheating self entitled bitches, no matter what game. Division only been out a couple weeks and your already licking it like a special kid licks a window 3) whiners!! Nerf criers!!! They can't get good enough or want the good K/D given and not earned! 4) no matter how many times someone complains about something there will always be a thousand more posts created by those still too young to read but old enough to be given their games (crack) 5) always will be those that can't afford to buy your shit but they will complain about it like they spent all their lottery money on it for you to make it for THEM 6) people will always say Nerf or Buff when they gave no idea or concept of what the real weapon would do or be like in the environment they use it in. 7) don't modify your game for the elitists, the bitching types, or people that didn't work for the money to buy the shit themselves 8) a gamer should never be the lead planner for the ten year plan for a game...EVER. They are like engineers..what ever they come up with is never well thought out and costs twice as much as what it should have but satisfies users less as time goes on. 9) do what you say your going to do 10) you don't want someone coming to your house and -blam!-ing with your shit and taking your woman and kicking your dog and disrespecting you so don't -blam!-ing think you have any right whatsoever to do that same shit to the equipment and guns people worked and played and grinded hard for. Players INVESTEd in you and your concept and when you got them on board a year later you pissed on them, I'm surprised you still mentally challenged actually "twitching" anything because soon other raids are going to demean anything they have already done within the last year 11). This post can go all day but I have a 6 figure contract job to go do

4 RepliesIts 3rd person. Once I saw that it was a NO from me.

1 ReplyDivision has an open world, destiny dont.

21 RepliesDestiny is fine

Just two things : There are loading screens, Fast Travel, and when you walk into your BoO. That slow walk is because the game is loading your base so technically it is a loading area. Also, the dam Texture pop ins need to be addressed. 2nd, Destiny has Crafting.... Exotic Sword Quest lol. You craft it.

7 RepliesThere is s lot of things that The Division does really well which Destiny could utilise. Having said that , The Division did have the benefit of seeing Destiny's problems for a year and a half. Destiny is still a solid game but Bungie needs to adapt a better philosophy in dealing with the communities concerns.
