I feel this one may be a hard loss but wanted to reach out since I just purchased all of the past DLCs on sale from Steam. I originally started playing back in D1 with the first few months of releasing and never really quit until recently. That being said I have a lot of collectables that I would really hate to lose weather its shaders, titles, emblems, etc. Not having access to all my grind progress would be very saddening. Well, several years ago now I had been robbed, and my phone was stolen. My phone at the time was the only way of authenticating my email I used for a plethora of things two of which were my old Steam and old PlayStation accounts. Gmail (the service I lost access to my account through) told me I don't have enough information to prove it's me so I can't even attempt to recover my account. Since I no longer had my PS4 console with the serial number or my card info that was on it, Sony told me to get bent too. I, to this day, will do anything for security other than 2FA because of how much I lost due to it. Luckily, I played on Xbox which had a separate email account. Back to today, my issue, I wish to continue playing Destiny again but now I am on PC and can no longer connect the Steam account I use today because my Cross Save is stuck behind two accounts I can't get back into. My Destiny character is still accessible on Xbox, but I wish to now play on PC like I have for the past couple years now. Is there any way to disconnect my Xbox from the rest and reconnect the account again or am I actually just stuck with a loss no matter what I do now? Any assistance or guidance would be extremely appreciated as there are really no games for me to replace Destiny with. Thank you in advance, Guardians.
