Events need an overhaul in this franchise.
I'm sorry, but this event gives no incentive to play as the rewards are pointless, nor is it fun. Even though onslaught was a little dlc, it puts this to shame. Thanks.

Careful there, asking for things in this game is always a cursed monkeys paw result. You want this to happen then it'll likely only mean marathon gets good events.

These events are so played out. The enemies are ridiculously underpowered. They're just fodder and the task is tedious and boring.

8 RisposteThis franchise can’t even get an overhaul to save this franchise. They’ve been copying and pasting these events in year after year with little difference. The staff working on D2 is going to be a small crew so the rest can focus on the cash cow of Marathon. We won’t see any changes to events.

Guardian games is cool. We do need new events of some kind. I do miss the crazy community puzzles/secrets and really hidden stuff we used to have going on years ago.

I like the memento. Im probably going to try to farm as many as i can once i can get back online. If it was truly a free event i would disagree with you. But its not. Its a ten dollar(?) premium event. If theyre going to charge us for full access then they should put a little more effort into the replayability. After a couple years its turned into a bit of a slog. The map is cool. I like it. I wish we had more or different activities to do there.

It’s busy enough and these events are FTP so they’re not investing in them under the current model.

Finishing some of the requirements in solstice gives you a single enhancement core, and a ticket you can't use unless you pay for the event pass thing

They made it grindy to keep yall busy. Cause no matter how much crap you talk. You still gonna do it anyways.

1 Rispondijust tune the grind down and increase rewards. solstice engram explosion from the tree is great, add that to other events decrease grind in some places, examples: for 2nd and 3rd solstice character glow for the armor should be cheaper. generate orbs bounties should be less orbs, specifically the seasonal challenge one.

Yup I used to look forward to the dawning especially when we had sparrow racing, FoL and crimson days. Now all these events are nothing but cash grabs and a bore.

Destiny needs a major overhaul period.

Things that needs to be changed in this Soltice event would be first the way we have artifice armor. Plain and simple. Artifice armor is holding us players for armor 2.0 and then would have been a lot better. Second would be different maps and different enemy types. Maybe even a Grandmaster event where champions appear as random mini bosses with extra health or with prismatic abilities. Next would be new weapons instead of reburished ones with different traits. Hopefully Destiny 2 ends with Bungie and then Destiny 3 begins with Sony. We shaill wait and see.

They just have no idea what's good and what isn't at Bungie anymore. In D1 the events were great. SRL was extremely fun and I always looked forward to it. Crimson Doubles was fun too. In D2 "events" consist of the exact same activities we always do every week, and instead of being creative they just add decorations and make up new materials that drop.

3 RisposteThe problem is that the game is not evolving! It's the same -blam!- it's always been just reskinned. No matter the event, dlc, or season, it's all the same. The only time we see a massive change is when they are forced to do anything beyond what they have been doing. It took like 8 years to get into build crafting, and yet it's so simplistic that every class does the same -blam!-. Besides a super, melee and class ability. There's no power fantasy, and I want true build crafting like diablo. There's so much useless -blam!- they dedicate time to. Like million of the same -blam!-. Ships are just screen savers, ghosts makes no difference which one you have. Sparrows ar pointless too beyond having one. The skimmer was a right direction but they're back to pumping out more sparrows. Titles mean nothing most people have their title through someone else, a cheese mechanic or it's practically handed out to them. No real build crafting Clasess are too in the same. Content means nothing if you miss it There's nothing to chase There's nothing to do.

They’ve not done it for years. Hardly going to happen now the team has been cut back and need to save money sadly. Our expectations need to be lower than they were, which admittedly weren’t high

It'll never happen. As long as people are going through with the grind and buying the Event Card, Bungie doesn't care about anything else. They're getting what they want. Player numbers and cash.
