Just like it says it the title, I'm much less compelled to using the so-called ultra combo " Repulsor Brace + Destabilizing Rounds" over any weapon that has Incandescent or Voltshot
-
Read my mind, was gonna make a post just about this. You an tell its an outdated perk when its counter parts are more powerful and have no down time, it really needs its CD to be removed.
-
Destabilizing rounds, headstone, titans creating stasis shards (in pve)...there are a lot of things that have unnecessary cooldowns.
-
We had that when it released, was a lot of fun. Bungie then realized that it didn't have a timer and added one. So, fun as it may be, I doubt a change will occur due to it being specifically patched out.
-
2 RisposteAll Bungie heard was, "Nerf Incandescent and Volt Shot".
-
Why is there a cool down Time?
-
I also think it needs to work like Kill Clip and not Incandescent. It would be great if reloading after getting kills with the weapon gave you volatile rounds for 7 - 10 seconds instead of spreading one instance of volatile on a kill. The debuff is not that strong if you’re not a controlled demolition Titan. Half the time I don’t even get RB to proc because they die at the wrong time.
-
They also have that damn elemental cool down! And they wonder why the player count keeps dropping.
-
Listen to aztecross much?

1 RispondiOkay, a bunch of similar posts pop up, complaining about destabilizing rounds. What streamer are we aping today? 😂
-
2 RisposteIt was added because of a machine gun being able to shred just about any boss.

9 RisposteAnd bonk hammer timer removed. They're both incredibly LAME
-
This is why void weapons can't keep up.

4 RisposteModificato da Hræsvelgr: 8/9/2024 7:14:28 AMWho tf made this a thing? Enemies don’t have cooldowns, why is the player being penalized? By their logic, everything should have a cooldown: shooting guns, amount of reloading permitted per minute, sprinting distance, amount of jumps allowed before oxygen intake, turning radius without getting dizzy, fatigue from various boss health gates, excessive grenade throws despite Shaxx motivating in your ear telling you to “relax!”—sure let’s put a cooldown on EVERYTHING and make Destiny a cooldown simulator. This is bad game design.

1 RispondiYep. Even if they removed the timer, Incandescent would still just be better. The perk needs serious buffs.

There was a time when The Hero's Burden with Feeding Frenzy + Destabilizing was > the roll.. I mean it was blowing up everything.. and now it might have to do more with how primary ammo weaps can't handle the juiced up enemies.. ...so actually a lot of primary wep perks are becoming uninteresting unless they give you damage right now (Frenzy, KT..etc).. not all of us have the patience to ping the bad guy thousand times with the primary wep to get the kill.. with that said I have been keeping my eye on actually using loose change because destabilizing procs it.. so that on the same weap.. can be interesting too I have to end with any buffs in this "magic" respect have to be kept to PVE pls.. but yes are def needed.. or primaries juiced up.. or enemies go on diets. -
I hardly notice it personally, but I’m not opposed to it being removed. Been using an Elsie’s Rifle since GL has been broken. Find myself using archetypes I rarely used before. Just wish each element had more choices.

Absolutely agree
-
Awwwwwwwww yeahhhhhhhhh
-
Allow me to inform you that the combo sucks. There are other ways to make the perks work better or better alternatives of the same style.

17 RisposteBungie needs to do something about bringing destabilization rounds and voltshot in line more with incandescent. Voltshot requires a reload and destabilization rounds has a cool down. To me they should all be equal in producing and in damage. But Bungie has way more important things to worry about right now.
