Sorry you feel that way. I disagree. I feel that the pve game is the closest to realizing it’s potential that it has ever been. Some of you are simply burned out. Others of you just are not interested in playing the game as an action-MMO. The only question is “Are you forgetting about the content droughts of D1, or are you so new that you never experienced them so have nothing to compare where are now, to?” Had they told us at the end of Y3 of D1 that in 5 years we’d have a game that gave us a continuos stream of stuff to do. A game you didn’t have to buy every scrap of content in order to continue to play. A game that had crafting and transmog incorporated in ways that didn’t break the game… …and a story that felt cohesive and leading somewhere truly fun and interesting and that we cared about what happened to the characters? -blam!-, we’d have been cheering. Yet here are now, with all these things and many of you are angry, bitter, and don’t appreciate them… We have that power because Bungie gave us what we wanted. This game has always been a power fantasy game. If you want this game to be a test of skill, this space-magic game is not what you wanted and will never give you want you want on a consistent basis. Because you are a minority of the player base, and like vanilla D2, giving you want you want will alienate the majority of the game’s player base.

If you have an issue with PvE now you probably never liked it in the first place. In terms of gameplay and available content this is more or less the best it’s been in a while.
