... and then the brain farts at Bungie decided to pull a telesto joke... moronic stupidity 👍👏

6 RisposteWhat I find saddening is that this could have been avoided if they simply address the lackluster components and content with updates versus nerfing the content and components that players enjoyed. META shifts are bad for the game. Adjusting METAs over lackluster content is killing this game diversity. Avoiding map rotation within major season is mind blogging. Every year should have been updates to the core systems, interchange between maps, modes, playlists and activities with the smaller content adding substantial content to help expand the story and content for the next major expansion. All Bungie did was add bandaids to the fatal wounds within the game.
... and then the brain farts at Bungie decided to pull a telesto joke... moronic stupidity 👍👏
I agree. Most of the matches are lopsided and then there are the networking hackers who check because they can get away with it. You report them and bungie kicks you out of game. Really. No wonder people are leaving. I am trying to decide to stop playing this all together. Playing the cross play gives most of us with slow internet a disadvantage.

3 RisposteDiarrhea is more enjoyable than pvp

Really there’s good and bad things about pvp. honestly it relies a lot on load out. Take jotuun for example. You could be terrible at pvp but still have a chance with jotuun. But the match making is bad. Idk why they need to put me against absolutely sweaty people, who you see for a split second and somehow your dead. I just like how reliant pvp is on your load out tho. You may disagree, but that’s fine. Just my opinion.

2 RisposteWhen is Destiny never in a worse state? If I had a nickel for every time the state destiny is in I’d be set for life.

2 RisposteModificato da Twin Inferno: 11/14/2022 3:26:18 PMPvp in a way has always been bad, but thinking back it’s only been a cause of ability spam, and a few weapon exceptions like Meta fusions, Linears, chaperone at it’s prime, Mountain Top, Last Word, and still to this day Le Monarch. Now we have a terrible meta, which is sidearms and pulses. I’m not even going to start with the invis/arc Titan… So, SBMM in a “competitive” 6v6 activity, trash meta, the amount of penalties to aggressive playstyles, and a constant lineup of the worst maps in the game… I swear, Mars had the best maps in the game and the fact that they aren’t back still blows my mind. And of course, last but not least… the uh, the uh, “cheating” pandemic with console lobbies if you know what I mean…

5 RisposteOnce again like every season/dlc before it, it's always in its worst state and once again someone next season/dlc will also say "it's at its worst state it's been in"
-
PvP main here. Hate to admit it, but I’ve been playing a lot more Halo lately ☹️. Feels nice to have some balance, dedicated servers and no ability spam
-
12 RisposteIt's worst state ever? Really? Are we sure we don't want to give that award to curse of osiris, or season of the worthy? It's definitely not the best the game has ever been, but there's a lot of contest for that position of the worst state it's been in. Even moreso if we add d1 into the mix with dark below, house of wolves, and just year 1 in general. I think this is probably just an example of recency bias.

1 Rispondiyeah, PvP is terrible. It lacks the ability to play a class to its fullest potential. It lacks build crafting. It lacks the ability to experiment and find new builds that work. It's mainly like that because of whiny babies that want anything remotely good to be nerfed because they lack the brainpower to build something that works to counter things. Yeah, over-shields and Invis can be annoying but I don't feel it warrants a nerf since they aren't that strong to begin with. PvP builds are simple brainless things that secure a quick kill with no tactic or thought. Classes hardly play a role seeing as the only thing viable is to play a Hunter as they are just easy mode. And Titan is only viable because of the tracking Storm Grenade (Which makes no sense to the identity of the class) and Peregrine Greaves. Warlocks offer very little as the skill gap required to be successful is far too high when you can just be a Hunter and have a toolkit that will be better utilized in any situation. I'm personally at a point where I just want to delete D2 and never come back. And it's not just obnoxious braindead metas but the lack of any meaningful content in the game as a whole. No more secrets, no more surprises. D2 is a shell of its former self. Even when content was subjectively worse, we still had cool events, things to still get excited about. Now it is just a simple bland experience.

6 RisposteWell, at least with regards to your post topic personally I experience PvP quick play control in one of the best states since years. Imho

1 RispondiPvp has been trash! And the severs only got worse this season Thank god I have apex, halo, and cod If I ran bungie pvp is would be the greatest FPS pvp game on the market
-
Meh. Cry
-
We don’t have the best people working on the game. The state of the game speaks for itself.
-
This time seems different. Most other years would be. "It will pick up." But with he meh 3.0 updates (especially for warlock), no secret missions, no community events, and no "you had to be there for it!" Moments. It's been a very vanilla year with very poor choices after WQ.
-
1 RispondiThe invis spam is insane. The refusals to do something about it are ridiculous. I've never seen so many people crutch one single ability ever. It's pathetic.
-
Yea d2 is a bad PvP game If you mainly play PvP go get an actual PvP game
-
PvP? Sure. PvE? Nowhere near. Year 1 was the worst PvE has ever been with boring content, less options, abilities practically worthless, exotic effects were very basic to the point they could just be considered stat buffs to normal legendaries, not much to play, worse graphics, slower movement, pre-order being the original only way to get arguably the best weapon at the time till the backlash changed this, there's just so much about year 1 that was horrible. Atm we're suffering droughts kinda like in D1 where we had no new content to play though in this case less "No new" and more "Nothing good".

3 RisposteAt this point… it looks like Bungo is either trolling or deliberately killing their own player base… We went from one CANCEROUS META (arbalest, lorentz + invisibility) to ANOTHER CANCER (broken OP telesto and invisibility spam). Great variety 😂😂😂😂😂 And Bungie is surprised that nobody wants to play this game anymore…
-
"I just sit in the back of the map with a long range weapon and just preserve my KD" -Every PVP player in my last 50 games
-
3 RisposteYeah. I can agree with you on pvp. Depending on what your views are on SBMM vs CBMM. But, no. The game is probably in the best shape it’s ever been in as far as pve is concerned. You just have disgruntled (understandably) pvp players, players who don’t want to play the game as an action-mmo, and burned out bets -blam!- to take a break trying to create a negative buzz.
-
31 RisposteAgreed, poorly implemented weapon crafting system, shallow seasonal story mission model, weak pinnacle compared to past ones, same old stale playlists and even the seasonal activities fell flat this season imo. Then the horrible state of pvp alongside the idiotic decision to reduce the one fun pvp event that brought the casuals and tryhard pvp players together to a mere two per season instead of monthly. Then the godawful solar and arc 3.0 implementations. No real fresh endgame pve either just the same old stale junk. Game is almost at its all time low pop, other fresh sucessful IPs will likely poach players esp over the next 6 months. All I can say is lightfall better deliver something special or the game will likely just be put in bare bones limp mode until the final shape and the games inevitable end.
-
the week they finally nerf LFR they come up with this broken telesto -blam!- in pvp. you litterally can't make this crap up
-
1 RispondiJust no. I’ve played every season since the game dropped. This is far from beyond light, season of the chosen, and season of the splicer. Stasis made those seasons almost unplayable. Hell, this isn’t even as bad as Worthy.
